It's not always bad news!

I had a chest X-ray in January this year and was told I had ring shadows that could represent bronchiectasis and also there were changes in my emphysema, waited four months for a ct scan, then another two weeks for the results, luckily my ring shadows was nothing and they had disappeared 😀 I'm so pleased for two reasons: I can't say the word and I can't spell it either 😂 On a serious note yes my emphysema has changed and my bullea aswell but it goes to show that it is not always the worst news and I think the things that makes us feel worse is the waiting times for these scans and results, although I would never knock the nhs, don't moan about something and then continue to use it.

Congratulations, it is not your worst fear. What a relief for you. Your emphysema and bullea changes, well it is chronic and it will gradually get worse over time, so not unexpected.

I have a three month wait, which really sucks, but there is a good reason for it which I accept.

I hope your wait goes faster than mine did, it was the most miserable time I ever had, waiting means thinking too much but let’s hope everyone who reads this has some good news some where.

Not a bad result at all so relief all round . Take care of the other items that concern you.
