Fluid on left lung
Over the last year I've had fluid on my left lung, which has shown up on a
chest

ray
. The last time was a few weeks ago and I was given a course of antibiotics. The fluid has returned again, but only in my left lung.

Pneumonia
They did another
chest

today, there were no changes since the last one, so it hasn’t gotten worse. My question is, did anyone experience anything similar and is it possible for his oxygen to be a little lower and require a little more oxygen during this time?

Anyway, a
chest
X
-
ray
has shown a normal heart and partially knackered lungs (atelectasis)caused by asthma and smoking a long time ago. The 24 hour ECG is still to be done, but under strict advisement the doc has said I can start running again. Gently does it. A 3km jog planned for tomorrow.

Platelet count high
Since last November, I have had regular blood monitoring and a
chest
x
ray
. I have been on methotrexate since then and prednisolone for a year (5mg, now weaning off). My doctor always says my bloods are great. Yet I got a write up yesterday which said the opposite.

One (or more) steps forward- at last!
Up to now, despite being on many medications and continuous steroids since January, I had not even had any blood tests or

. So on Friday I saw an asthma nurse, physio and consultant and had bloods taken, a

Waiting for results… so anxious
He insisted I see a dr, so 10 days ago I had a
chest
X
-
ray
. I’m still waiting for my results and feeling so so worried. My symptoms are a cough: I cough every day though better in bed, it’s not productive although sometimes sounds like there’s something on my chest.

Mucinous adenocarcinoma
Today I’m going for a follow up
chest
X

and having just looked at the form it’s says T3 Muc. Adeno. I knew I had NSCLC adenocarcinoma. So I’m assuming the MUC is mucinous, which I wasn’t aware of. Does anyone have/had mucinous adenocarcinoma?

New Here
Saw another doc today and told him about the lump, he ordered a

Doctor sent me for
chest
X

and bloods which came back clear thank goodness. Asthma nurse has given me a pink inhaler and it’s been my saviour. Two puffs morning and night & I can run again - albeit indoors at the gym now but I’m back running and therefore very pleased.

Another Month ........ Another Fracture!🙄
After various blood tests (inconclusive), a
chest
x
-
ray
and a CT scan, I was told there was no blood clot. Unfortunately however, the CT scan did reveal a new T7 spinal compression fracture, and 3 old, healed rib fractures. I've had periods of rib pain over the years but just assumed it was RA.

Blood tests negative apart from ANA
Also that acid reflux worse, experiencing heartburn, choking again on liquids, heavy
chest
etc. He said
chest

all clear, it would show if there was a problem, take more medicine. I felt silly by the end of the appt, didn’t get to say what I wanted as felt like wasting their time.
