A bit disheartened and confused
A little over 2 years ago at age 36 I experienced the first of what I came to find out was an Afib episode (of course, not until after being told I was just having panic attacks by some very unhelpful ER personnel). This was about a week after a doctor had prescribed me rizatriptan for headaches (

AF what does the future hold?
My bad cough that I’ve had for nearly ten weeks seems to be clearing up and been for a

so will see if that’s connected to the issues with my heart. Hard to know what the future may hold until I’ve seen a consultant.

Hyperinflated lungs on x-ray...
Went to urgent care again as my lungs and throat felt like closing in again. 10 hours after waiting I got another
chest
x
-
ray
and this other doctor tells me he doesn't think I have COPD and my lungs only look hyperinflated because I'm very skinny with small ribs. He advised it's anxiety.

Not going as planed
I had my
chest

and ECG done yesterday. They then told me that my heart cath more than likely won’t be going ahead today. To say I was annoyed would be an understatement. Got the team coming round sometime today to chat to me.

My MSK Precise / SBRT Journey -- Simulation
I had my simulation procedure at MSK in NYC yesterday. Overall, it was a long day, but much of it was waiting in between the phases of the process. I had prepped in the morning with the Citrucel, Gas-X tabs, and saline enema, so when I arrived I was ready to roll. The first part involved the CT scan

The nurse suggested refering me to a consultant, get a
chest

and have put me on montelukast even though I've read some good and bad stories I'm still willing to give it a try. I'd be interested to know what a consultant will do nurse did mention lung function tests but don't know what else.
