Lung and diaphragm pain when to go to emergency?

Hi All,

I know some endo has been found in my lower lung but I haven’t managed to do much about it because of COVID and how hard it is to get an appointment.

I have had a really bad cough the last two months. Ive done a lots of COVID tests so its not that or a regular thing from what I can tell. The cough has just recently become uncontrollable in the last two days, like my chest is trying to jump out of my mouth. It feeling like someone is standing on my chest and I’m having some spontaneous sharp pains around my abdomen.

I finally spoke to a doctor last night and she said I could be bleeding into my lungs and that I needed a chest X ray urgently and that I should go first thing in the morning and that she would try to get the results back by the evening or Saturday morning. Im really restless sitting around at home and the pain is getting worse.

When would you go to emergency. It doesn’t feel like an emergency now but I’m worried no one will follow through.

Would love some advice especially from anyone with has Endo in the lungs or Diaphragm.

Thanks!!! xx

Personally I think you should have gone today! Endometriosis on the lungs can be very serious. I've been diagnosed with it on the diaphragm.

Don't hold back from going and make a fuss. My advice would be to stress how much pain you are in. Good luck with getting some help. xx
