2nd Rituximab infusion and another flare... Anyone else had the Same?
Hi all I've just had my second infusion of Rituximab, followed by a flare a couple of days later. It would be really helpful to hear if anyone else had the same reaction and then went on to feel good on the drug - just trying to not get too downhearted 😕 Many thanks

Hi, is anyone with RA on rituximab infusion. My husband has RA he's just been taken off gold injections as not working. He's tried a lot of other drugs. He has alot of other health problems so was wondering about side affects. Do other's have bad side affects.

Saying hi!
I'm new to this site, I'm looking to chat with other folks and to hear their experience of lupus. I've had my first treatment of Rituximab in Dec and I'm still waiting for it to really kick in. I am very weak and wobbly first thing though it improves after about 2 hours. Heat really messes with me

Taking Ibuprofen with Ibrutinib?? Is it OK?
FLAIR trail: One month on from end of 6 month Rituximab treatment. Taking 2/3 dose of Ibrutinib due to muscle pain problems. Now unfortunately I am still suffering severe muscle and joint pains from time time, ( Leg, back, knee...) bad enough to stop me being able to drive or walk for 2 or 3 days. So

Got my rituximab date! Help!
Just got my date for this and rang the ward to ask if I needed to have someone come with me or if I needed escorting home afterwards. Got a very surly nurse. She said in a very amazed voice 'No, you can come alone.'. Like I had asked a pathetic question. Then I said 'do I need someone to take me

Back pain and Rituximab
Hi, 6 days on and my back is very slowly getting better. GP wanted me to attend A&E last week but unfortunately my back went into spasm and ended up ringing 999 ( I'm a nurse so it was a hard decision !!) 9 hrs in Cas and sent home after xray was clear. Nice Dr dosed me up with Tramadol and Diazepam

rituximab no more....tocilizmab here I come
My consultant called me last Friday for a catch up on how I was doing after my second load of rituximab which was beginning March.  We agreed that its not doing what it should and a change of treatment was required. Had appointment with specialist nurse yesterday and now waiting for slot on day ward

Post knee replacement (no 4 I think)
Knees are going ok now, but I'm being very badly held up by lack of RA treatment. My last rituximab was in September and I have to wait another 11 days for the next infusion. When the treatment is working, however inadequately, you do forget how debilitating the inflammation can be. Hands, shoulders,

TRIAL OR NOT TO TRIAL, THAT IS THE QUESTION?????
In my last post I mentioned that It looks likely that I will be starting treatment in June. IN the meanwhile, I have been in touch with the consultant who I went to for a second opinion just after diagnosis. He can see me next week with the possibility of starting a trial .... FLAIR. I have read so

Severe pain so may have to stop Ibrutinib
Many thanks to all who responded to my query re Ibrutinib and Ibuprofen. In the end consultant said not a good idea. Im any case I am still suffering severe muscle pains and have dropped down to only 1/3 dose. If pains continue will have to stop Ibrutinib. Very disappointing. My blood results have improved

Medication information
I asked this question in the VUK Facebook group and got lots of interesting replies so thought I would post here as well! When you were started on treatment ( Rituximab, Cyclo, prednisolone, DMARDS etc ) were you given an information leaflet from your Consultant? If so was it geared to Rheumatoid Arthritis

So it looks like the roller coaster is about to begin...
Only 9 months into diagnosis and W&W, it looks like chemo is about to begin. Symptoms have recently become more problematic with huge nodes in neck restricting my movement, groiin very sore and abdomen tender ion right side. Energy levels have dropped dramatically. Scan shows enlargement of all

Tried everything like you do as you tend to run out of options. Been on a 5 year drugs trial but am currently having 6 monthly infusions of Rituximab

I'm scheduled to start treatment for CLL in a few weeks. I live in the USA and have an opportunity to participate in a randomized clinic trail of FCR vs. Ibrutinib/Rituximab for treatment naive; < 65 years old subjects. The only health issue I have is CLL, (no blood pressure problem, Cholesterol,
