Cerazette

On Cerazette (75mg) since June. She said I should come back in August, prescribed painkillers. Next, she wants to put me on the combined, since the pop causes spotting (and bloating) that I've had since day 1. Spotting supposedly causes pain, as blood drips into the pelvis -- she said.

a quick question. after suffering a great deal of pain since my lap in march (actually worse than before op & in and out of a&e practically every month) scans have revealed i still have lesions attaching my left ovary to uterus. but i have been advised not to have any more surgeries & to go on BC cerazette

Hi everyone. just wondering what others experiences are with Cerazette. I’ve been on it 8 years. I had a break from it for about a month last year to give my body a break, but I couldn’t cope with periods so went back on it.

Hey all, I’m now into my third packet of cerazette after being put on it after excision surgery to prevent endo building up again. Three packets in and I am still experiencing bleeding every 2 weeks or so for 2 or 3 days.

Has anyone taken cerazette and it's initially made things worse but it's got better. I've taken 2 packets of cerazette and I'm on my third period already my last one started 13 days ago my pain is no better and I've had some new sharp pains!

hi, i have recently been put on to cerazette and i have been told from my doctor not to take a week off, like just stay on them completely. he said that this will make my ovaries go to "sleep", i'm just wondering if anyone has had experience with cerazette?

The doctor has changed her contraceptive pill because of her having a hemiplegic migraine and put her on cerelle which is the same as Cerazette. She suffers with really heavy periods but with Cerazette she bled every day for 6 months.

Hi girls, just thought I'd share my short-lived experience on a new pill, after the horrid 4 months ordeal I had with Cerazette.. I'm on day 5 of Loestrin 20 and I feel SO MUCH better in general. I feel more energetic and did not get many side-effects at all.

What is your experience with Cerazette and did you bleed this much and every 10 days as I did in the first 4 months?? I appreciate all comments xxx

Hi, I was told to take the Cerazette pill after my Laparoscopy without any explanation as to why! I refused to take it as I’ve previously had a bad time on it so my doctor said they would look into a different pill.

I was put on Cerazette and unfortunately I bleed a lot on it for the first three months. I went to have an ultrasound and my endo was back :( The pains on my left thigh and groin are still there too, since BEFORE the Lap! I'm so pissed off and upset.

I am also sensitive to hormones so I'm reluctant to suppress my cycle through the pill; I prefer the idea of the IUD but I had a bad reaction to the mirena :'( However I'm getting so desperate that I'm considering going on cerazette again. Ughhhhh.

Then I went on cerazette and that is when my pelvic pain increased. I lasted 5 weeks on it and then I went on oral provera tablets 10mg 3 times a day but still had incrwased pain. Now I have just started Norgeston and I have had pain still which us currently in my uterus.

But the matter is, after two visits to a&e in June, the specialist gyn put me on desostregel (Cerazette) as I can't take combined after a catastrophic attempt in 2014 using Yasmin.

Hi So I’ve been on cerazette/cerelle for nearly 8 years now. After the inital 6 months of bleeding on and off I settled into 3/4 very light bleeds a year lasting a couple of days.

I am on cerazette for dysfunctional bleeding. I was duagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease in dec 2015 and have been suffering ever since.

I have been on cerazette for 3 weeks I have been in so much pain and bleeding I am at my wits end. Been on pain killers every day since starting this damn pill. I was put on it due to dysfunctional bleeding. Please can anyone suggest anything else.

I've been on cerazette for 3 weeks now I'm now experiencing a period for 3 days so far. Will this stop, I'm freaking out that the bleeding won't Stop. What's your experiences? Thanks so much

Any tried Cerazette for endo symptoms? What have your experiences been like? I may have endo and so I’ve been prescribed the mini pill

I’m due to start cerazette this week to see if this helps and shrink any endo that maybe growing but I’ve not got much hope as been there done that had the Agony that goes with it. I’m really upset as I’m running out options now x
