I'm new here...but a longtime survivor
I had my first panic attack in 1978...I know..that's a long time ago! Here's my story. I hope it may encourage others to seek help. I was 20 yrs old. I'm now 61. I am happily married with three grown daughters and 4 grandchildren. I have been successful in business and generally enjoyed my life so

Please help!
So basically my psychiatrist is not communicating with me and I don't have an appointment until mid July. He prescribed me celexa, busphar, amytryptaline and Ativan. That is an awful lot of meds and even though he said it's a perfectly safe combo I don't want to take this many meds. I have also been

Any similar experiences? Please help
Anybody ever get muscle tremors ( fasiculations, not spasms or jerks) with muscle contractions? For example my thumb shakes when I hold my wrist back and my whole lower leg shakes when I point my toes. Sometimes my whole body shakes when I am doing activities but that might be anxiety related. I don't

Need to say this about anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds.
There are many people who die from respiratory distress from taking these medications. Such as Celexa, Lexapro, Prozac, or Xanax, Klonopin, Valium., etc. They do suppress our breathing guys!! My husband and I ran across this while researching COPD. I fully realize the benefit one might have from

Opinions on prozac?
I've just recently started working with a new doctor and therapist for managing my anxiety and depression. I took celexa a while back and absolutely hated It! It stopped my panic attacks but made me so depressed, and that was back before I really even felt depressed. I've been reluctant to using medication

Need some advice please!
I haven't posted in a while since I have been struggling to get over Lyme and continued struggle with anxiety. I need some suggestions on how to proceed with medications. I have been prescribed celexa, Busphar, amytryptaline and Ativan by psychiatrist. I think it's too many meds and all pretty much

So today is day 3 of being on celexa, which I'm doing a lot better. I haven't had a panic attack since Saturday. Today I got my blood work back. I have a vitamin D deficiency and my white blood cell count is a little elevated. My doctor prescribed me vitamin D capsule's. I picked up and came home to

Meds Advice
I have dealt with anxiety all my life, in one form or another, but recently I've had a bout of anxiety that I'm trying to handle without a change in my medication. Currently I'm on 40mg of Celexa. Celexa has never been very good at managing my anxiety. I was placed on it as a teen for depression, which

Another anxiety attack
So today I almost had two anxiety attacks but I recognized the symptoms and I immediately did my breathing which helped because it made it go away. I bought Sam E today and I'm wondering if anyone here has had any luck with this and celexa. I've taken a dose but now I'm scared that it's going to interact
