Catheter Ablation
I had the procedure on 3rd of February. I seem to be on the mend and have limited my exercise to walking and a swim. I sometimes feel a blip and check my heart which still registers NSR. I continue to take apixaban and sotalol 80mg per day. Does anyone get occasional burning sensation - I feel this

Post Catheter Ablation Recovery
Hi all, i had my ablation 3 weeks ago now and still experiencing mild soreness/discomfort around the puncture site in my groin. I was told by LGI I would be up to near normal activity after a few days and be back swimming and light gym work after a couple of weeks yet it took me over a week to be able

A-fib after 1 ablation… still experiencing A-fib. Does anyone suggest a second ablation or just wait? Ablation was Sept.22,2022
Things to expect after a
catheter
ablation
? Do you think a 2nd ablation shows more success? I’d like general information from actual ablation cases.

Cardiac Ablation Recovery for AVRT
Hey all! I'd like to see if anyone can weigh in on what I am going through here... I'm a healthy 38 y/o male who got SVT suddenly in September 2021. It initially came on several hours after playing hockey, but then happened sporadically with triggers besides exercise. It would last anywhere from a few

Vibration therapy
I have found the Therapulse device to be very effective in managing my RLS. I had a cardiac ablation for atrial fibrillation last week and am now in the three month recovery period, just easing back into normal life, and trying to avoid any triggers for AF. Using the Therapulse never seemed to affect

Hi All, New to the forum, so hello! I just wanted a little advice & reassurance really. I had cardiac ablation for WPW following an episode of SVT a few years ago and had no cardiac issues following that. Recently I attended A&E twice with chest pain, bloods normal but ecg read non specific abnormality

How soon to resume taper after cardiac ablation?
I was on 7mg prednisone, easing into 6.75, when I had my cardiac ablation on April 15. Went back to 7 mg however, upped it with cardiac inflammation, 5 mgs for 5 days and resumed 7. Then I developed a chest cold with fever and put on abx. Used sick day rules and now back to 7. It takes 3 months for

Second cardiac ablation attempt
Hi there, I am a 31M fit and healthy and suffer from a high frequency of left ventricle premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) with a ~18% burden. They are coming from a small area near the LF papillary muscle . I had an ablation under a very skilled EP in London who successfully ablated the problematic

One year post endometrial ablation and lap update.
This time last year I had endometrial ablation. Mirena coil fitted and bilateral ovarian cysts removed. All has been really good. I occasionally get verve pain around port sites from my lap but generally much better. No period in a year which is an unbelievable relief after months of flooding pre op

sympathetic ears…
Sometimes I think no one else gets it :( I was lucky to get surgery on Wednesday. This is my third surgery but I really was so so poorly afterwards. I’m feeling lonely, tired, emotional and in pain. I hate people worrying about me so I’ve kept it quiet ish, hardly anyone knows and now I feel useless
