Post ablation tubal sterilisation syndrome (PATTS)
Has anyone else had both of these surgeries and gone on to have excruciating pain? During my surgery they found endometriosis and I've since had an MRI and CT scan (as well as lots of useless ultrasounds that find nothing). I've been diagnosed with deep infiltrating endo on ovaries, peritoneum and bowel

Female 65. I had a cardiac ablation on 16 Jan 2024. It was the worse thing I ever gone through. I felt everything and told the consultant. He said I had a low pain threshold. The nurse in the ward congratulated me for not requiring much medication! ( I have done fire walks with less pain) I was totally

Heart Issues post Ivor Lewis
Hi, wondering if any of you that have had the Ivor Lewis surgery have had heart issues post surgery? At 3 years post surgery I started having atrial fibralation. Now 5 years post surgery and the afib is worse but I also have Braychardia ( very low heart rate) Looks like I will need a cardiac ablation

Short spell of dizziness
hello to you all I had
catheter
ablation
end of Sept 2022 to alleviate flutter. I also had lots of annoying etopics. I was suffering with some tachycardia too and very low BP which made taking Bisosporol an issue. All went well. I’m currently on Edoxaban and 2.5 Bisosporol as a PIP.

Ablation done.
I was offered
catheter
ablation
which was performed on Monday 27 feb. They restored NSR I was discharged later that day. Later in the evening I began to develop stomach pain which quickly became unbearable.

Failed Endometrial Ablation: Prostap
Hi folks, Here goes, I had an ablation done but I’ve never had endometriosis - long story - it’s failed and I’m due to have the Prostap injection. I’m worried about weight gain a developing hashimoto’s, I’m paralysed and osteoporosis is also a worry. I’m very high risk for hysterectomy surgery, so

Atrioesophageal fistula (AEF)
Heads up to those undergoing cardiac ablation for Afib…had my ablation 12/6/23. Everything went great! Been in normal rhythm ever since! No bleeding, no hematoma, no real discomfort. However I woke up to abdominal pain, pain between shoulder blades and sore throat. 3 nights post op woke up to a burning

post ablation questions/reassurance
Just had a
catheter
ablation
for my SVT. It was AVNRT and very close to the av node. Had some palpitations post surgery but hoping that's part of recovery. Feeling anxious for sure and fatigued by the evening but hoping it feels all OK soon. It's been just a week

Adenomyosis, should I have hysterectomy?
The short version is that I have adenomyosis. I've always had heavy periods with period pains that make my thighs numb and require prescription painkillers. At the age of 44 I had some symptoms of perimenopause and tried HRT. After two years I came off and that seems to have triggered a strong reaction

Post ablation short of breath
I had a
catheter
ablation
3 days ago having been in permanent Afib for 5 months. I have suffered from asthma since childhood & have an FEV of a 90 year old, or so I'm told.

Should I have a hysterectomy?
The short version is that I have adenomyosis, but it is well enough managed on zoladex/Tibolone that I'm not having any significant pain and not bleeding enough that it is a problem, but I do have lots of more minor issues and my consultant thinks a hysterectomy would be better. I've got the op booked

Few issues
Hi, ongoing issues, HF (EF 40%), LVSD, AF.Total heart block, 2 lead Pacemaker dependant due to AV node ablation with no rate response, set at 70bpm (HR doesn't go above) had rate response activated but made AF worse so back to 70bpm. Seen consultant yesterday and looking at upgrading PM to CRT (3 lead

AF has not returned after all
When seeing my new EP regarding another ablation for the return of AF, I was informed that my episodes in January and March of this year were not AF but SVT. Specifically, they believe I have AVNRT (atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia). So for now, I am back on diltiazem until I can be scheduled
