3 weeks ago yesterday since my PM was fitted , my wound is healing nicely . ,I just got a letter from the hospital to say I will have a telephone consultation on the 7/10/20 . My worry there is that since the pm was fitted and I went home next day my heart rate is anything from 60 -90-102-then back to

New Here - From Afib to now PE Second time around
Fit and pretty healthy 65 year old guy trying to figure out why I have now had my second PE 4 years apart. Keeping my Afib controlled without any meds after cardiac ablation 4 years ago but after second knee surgery months later I was admitted to Hospital for Bilateral Embolism and now on Eliquis blood

Fast heart rate after ablation for atrial tachycardia
Hi there, I had a
catheter
ablation
for atrial tachycardia on Friday last week. The tachycardia I was experiencing had been exclusively brought on by exercise, particularly running.

Why do people have multiple ablations?
Before I had my ablation I was told that the success rate was 70%, so for 30% of people it didn't work at all or maybe it didn't work perfectly and they would need one or more procedures. Presumably that is because not all of the electrical signals were found but maybe not. Maybe it only worked for

Bradycardia - ¿Atria working?
My atria have been
catheter
ablation
-ed, so they do not fibrillate (much) - but do they work? When I had a new pacemaker, they installed an addition atrial lead, and the atria are now paced - and this atria-paced ECG looks different to the ventricle paced ECGs.

Anxious starting Tildiem for SVT’s
A cardiologist called me the very next day and has put me on Tildiem for now, but urging me to have a
catheter
ablation
. He’s referred me to an electrophysiologist? to talk in more detail about what to do next.

Thoughts on Ablate AV Node and Pace
I have a long history of AF which resulted recently with me being admitted following a routine Echo as I was apparently in very fast uncontrolled AF. After the various obligatory tests I was told a cardioversion had been arranged for the following morning and I was started on Digoxin (which I am still

Home Use Oximeter & Atrial Fibrillation
My
catheter
ablation
due Tuesday has been cancelled for obvious reasons and goodness knows when it will happen. So knowing that I will be living with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation for a while longer I thought I would see how the oxygen saturation level differs when I am in or out of AF.

Post ablation palpitations?
Hello. I just had a cardiac ablation yesterday for SVT. They said I had 2 nodes and pathways and that they found the circuit and ablated it and considered it successful. Since getting home I’m getting almost constant flutters and palpitations. (Pre-procedure they were induced by running/jumping/swimming

Scheduled Surgery
Got to watch most of my heart surgery (
catheter
ablation
) on the monitor since I was conscious. That was really cool to watch. Next it will be on the the knee surgery. Going to give my body time to heal up before I tackle that one. Will let you all know how it goes after I am out of surgery.

Three years later
I also had a
catheter
ablation
for flutter and re-isolation of one of the pulmonary veins six months after this, but this was planned from the start.

Heart pain 3 months post ablation
I underwent a
catheter
ablation
in January of this year for paroxysmal AF. Signs are that the heart function has improved despite what looks like ectopic beats showing on the ultrasound.
