Take forever to recover from illness
Hello everyone I've had an underactive thyroid since 1998 and I take Levothyroxine 125 mcg daily. This is my first post here. So my query is, every time I get ill it takes me forever to recover my full vitality. I'm very sporty (running, cycling, weight training hiking etc) and it drives me mad that

Cardiac ablation
Hi, already one whole month since I had the cardiac ablation procedure and I haven't had bad AF episodes since then, now I'm only getting short not too strong flutterings. I had been feeling very anxious about the procedure but everything went well and I was able to go home after about 2 hours rest

Nerve endings in the heart ablation (ganglionated plexi)
Has anyone taken part in a research or have any experience of standard
catheter
ablation
for AF versus ablation of the nerve endings (ganglionated plexi)? Or have any thoughts about this? My 4th
catheter
ablation
was last Friday so 6 days ago now at Hammersmith hospital.

Waiting list
Looking for views on AV node ablation and pacemaker which has been suggested as I have been on waiting list for an ordinary ablation for so long that they think it may not work.

Enjoying life ..
Just a little update , since getting my pacemaker in sept 2020 and AV node ablation 4 weeks later , I am loving life right at this moment , as you can see I’m getting out there a bit more each day , I don’t care what weather is I’m out . I’m not saying it’s been all plain sailing as I have a sore shoulder

First AF Ablation this week
I am scheduled for a
catheter
ablation
(pulmonary vein isolation and ablation for the typical atrial flutter) Friday at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota (our local health network is Mayo so it's in our network), which is about 90 miles from our home.

Pace and Ablate for Persistent A fib - Your Experiences?
Hi Whilst in hospital over Christmas, it was decided upon a pace and ablate for my a fib which is now persistent and has given me cardiac decompensation. However, there was a U turn and the consultants decided to try me on further drugs and give them a bit of time first. I was discharged on 10 mg bisoprolol

Catheter Ablation
So my amazing AF journey continues, today was released from hospital and was told i can have a
catheter
ablation
although the waiting list is a few mths. Start anticoagulants tomorrow. Apparently my meds have basically lasted their course so ablation it is.

Covid, pacemaker and prosthetic mitral valve
I hope this will help to reassure many. I have a pacemaker with av node ablation, prosthetic mitral valve and continuing, although not felt, af. Medication is warfarin alone. Christmas has been spent in South Africa with my family, on Boxing Day, 5 of us, including myself tested positive for Covid

After 2 radiofrequency cardiac ablations, still have atrial fibrillation Afib
Hi all, it would be great and grateful if u could share your experience to me. This is my case. I'm a 47 yrs old guy with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (irregular and fast heat beat), which is found in early 2018. It is caused by my thyroid problem and it's cured already. But Afib is not leaving. After
