Extremely tired of chemical castration
I'm interested in chatting with those who have had an orchiectomy, guess thats how you spell it. I'm tired of all the side affects of cancer drugs and all the problems they cause to my body so I'm concidering having an orchiectomy. Yes I know all about what happens when you get this but as far as I'm

ARASENS: more positive data about castration resistance
New article, but I think that I have already written about this...basically, it seems to delay
castration
resistance in prostate cancer.

Castration by Estrogen Patch
This plot shows a dramatic decrease in testosterone and PSA after starting estrogen patch therapy, indicating that transdermal estrogen (TDE) therapy effectively castrates men, and with fewer side effects than Lupron ADT.

PSA reduction after Estrogen Patch Therapy
Here's a revised plot of PSA reduction due to
castration
from Estrogen Patch therapy. The previous version had the wrong time scale. That has been corrected in this version. The total time is 3 months, after which the PSA and testosterone both flatten out versus time.

advice please!
I will also have a
castration
surgery to stop the testosterone from fueling the cancer. I am hoping to find a more natural less invasive way of slowing down the cancer and even it going back into remission if possible. Please send recommendations.

Does this mark the beginning of castration resistance?
I've been reading on this forum about switching out ADT medication etc. and how that has given some people more time before
castration
resistance. I was wondering what options are available given dad's current situation.

Expanded label sought for 177Lu-PSMA-617 in prostate cancer: about time
I have already done the taxane part and I would like to see how 177Lu performs as first line...but this is also interesting, it seems more effective than a change in ARPI in
castration
resistant setting "Data also showed that a PSA decline of at least 50% was more than 2.5 times more frequent with 177Lu-PSMA

PCA Cure and when?
7 months into my fight against
castration
sensitive prostate cancer. PSA is 0 on ADT and Abiraterone and methylprednisolone. Averaged 8,600 steps/day. I have just started to add occasional sprinting. I am taking multiple supplements. I am greatful that my PSA is 0.

Length of Treatment for Orgovyx (Relugolix) versus Lupron and other Longer Acting ADT drugs as Adjuvant to RT or Used for IADT?
Extrapolating out I'd say it's plausible to get the equivalent effective time of
castration
you'd have to take Orgovyx an additional 4-6 months! So 10-12 months Orgovyx = 6 months (2 shots) Lupron.
