More advice needed.

Trying turmeric and fish oil as anti-inflammatory
I experimented for over a month with a high amount of turmeric and fish oil to try and lessen the inflammatory load in my system and hopefully to get a little more pain relief.. I was also taking 'relief factor' as seen on tv. I also cleaned up my diet and cut out foods that cause inflammation and added

Is anyone else taking rhodiola rosea?
Hubby has been taking rhodiola now for a month, 1 per day for 2 weeks then 2 per day. He is doing very well this winter considering usually winter is when he falls to pieces. He is better than he has been for 5 winters! He is laughing, proactively doing things, and is interested in things. The rhodiola

Test for intrinsic factor antibodies - when to do?
Quick questions, I hope! My doctor has agreed to this test but said we should wait until after 4 weeks after a third monthly injection of b12. I don't really see the point in waiting, because if it confirms a Pernicious Anemia diagnosis, that would hopefully mean I could start on more frequent loading

How long before an oral B12 tablet affects your Active/Serum B12 level?
Assuming for a moment that you don't have PA, and that you can successfully absorb oral B12 tablets like a healthy person (who may just have a very poor diet): 1) How long does it take an oral B12 tablet to be absorbed, such that it raises an Active B12 blood test result (or failing that, a Serum B12

I feel a bit left to my own devices but I'm not worried

Feel ok at the moment. I had a phone appt with rheumy

UPSIT Smell Test & smell training
Has anyone taken the UPSIT smell test? What was your experience? I think my sense of smell is just fine. But I scored 31/40 on the UPSIT test which indicates mild microsmia. I had issues with the test. The paper in the booklets already had a sickening sweet smell which distracted my nose from the smells

Help! Is it the AA?
Hello everyone. What a great forum!! I am a 56 year old woman. I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis after breaking my elbow last December. I suspect that this is from my menopause (I was 43). Iāve had a horrendous menopause but was starting to feel much better last year but then I fell.

Active B12 testing
Hi all, I have held off SI this month as I was trying to work out what might be causing skin flushing that Iāve been having. My neuro symptoms and stiff and achey joints are back although Iāve been waiting to hear from my GP about whether they will test for anti- intrinsic factor antibodies again and
