Advice re the pill and endometriosis and fibroids
Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyone can give me advice or has been in a similar situation before. I had major surgery to remove endometriosis from the bladder and surrounding areas in 2015. After the surgery my consultant advised I start and stay on the pill to manage recurrence of endometriosis

W9R3 - I did it!!!!
I was so excited for this morning’s graduation run 🤗 It started however with a technical malfunction. I couldn’t get my ear buds to pair with my phone but I wasn’t going to let that spoil it, although I would miss Yasmin who has spurred me on from the very start. Park Run was my chosen route and I

Calcium content of dairy sourced calcium from casein protein shakes
I have some
casein
protein shake powder that claims it has 623mg of calcium per serving. I'm thinking I can pretty well cover my calcium needs with one morning, and one evening shake. Does anyone have any thoughts on this approach? Effectiveness? What percentage of this is actually absorbed?

Hormones affecting vaginal dryness
Hi I’ve been on microgynon for a year and it’s made me really dry and loss of libido, my gp changed me to Yasmin and it’s not improved at all. I’m considering going on the copper IUD but all I hear are negative things. Clearly there’s downsides to any contraceptive. But just wanted peoples advice or

Getting off the couch
Hi, I am new here. Been far too easy to " recline after a day's work so decided to come off the couch :-). Huffed and puffed and just completed week 3. Found Yasmin Evans to be most encouraging.

Can Supplements cause Crohn's
We are trying gluten free and
casein
free diet. We are also trying to rise up and stay positive with the new diet and perhaps some prayer and meditation. This has been tough on my AFIB / heart. Good luck to all of you on your journey to better health.

Hi all, So a bit of background. I had a laparoscopy 3 years ago to remove a cyst from my ovary which turned out to be a chocolate cyst and they also found adhesions on my other ovary and diagnosed endometriosis. Switching from combined to mini pill with PCOS and Endo
Hi everyone - brief history, I was diagnosed with PCOS as a teenager (around 2000) and have been on Yasmin combined pill for around 15 years. I was finally diagnosed with endo (stage 3/4, RV and other areas) in around 2016. I've had multiple laps to treat the Endo, last one in Feb this year. At my consultant

Is there a best brand type of contraceptive pill for PCOS?
Hi all After 5 years of infertility issues, I'm finally at the point where I'm now giving up trying. I want to just get on with life. I am looking to go back on the pill as I'm tired of the heavy painful periods and want some relief for a year maybe. I am finding the hirsutism worse all the time and

Healing Our own Injuries and "Brokenness" with Gold
"Lessons From The Japanese Art of Kintsugi ." The following is an adaptation of an article that inspired me to consider the image above: This beautiful, oddly-shaped and broken vessel, healed with gold, as a metaphor for my own life and journey with prostate cancer. Endo/Pcos and the Yasmin Pill
I've had confirmed endometriosis (via laparoscopy) for the last 3 years now but I've recently been diagnosed with PCOS as well (because endo just clearly wasn't stressful enough). Symptoms are increasing in severity as well as new symptoms appearing. I recently went to a private consultant who prescribed

Switching Pills
Hi there, I’m after a bit of advice. After speaking to my consultant earlier this morning he has suggested changing my pill from Microgynon to Yasmin due to bleeding when taking back to back pack and to increase my hormone levels to hopefully stop this from happening. I’ve heard lots of horror stories
