I was so excited for this morningโs graduation run ๐ค It started however with a technical malfunction. I couldnโt get my ear buds to pair with my phone but I wasnโt going to let that spoil it, although I would miss Yasmin who has spurred me on from the very start. Park Run was my chosen route and I knew 30 mins achievable but what I didnโt expect was me running for the full 5k (37 mins). Wow!!! 9 weeks ago I would have said โno wayโ but I canโt quite believe that just happened. Iโm buzzing!!! I feel I can call myself a runner now for the very first time in my 50+ years. Just proves that your never too old.
Best of luck to everyone who is their final week too โฆ youโve got this โฆ enjoy!!!

Congratulations! Youโve earned your graduate badge-wear with pride.
Just be a bit careful with increasing the time youโre running for too quickly-you really donโt want to get injured after such a great success with the programme. Itโs recommended that you stick to 30 minutes for a few weeks as consolidation before you start going for longer. Totally understand itโs easy to get carried away when youโre on a roll with other runners around you.
Hope youโre going to be celebrating ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐
