Had my First and hopefully only Cardiac Ablation
Everything went well and I hurt everywhere on my body. Was totally out for about 5 hours and they went in thru my groin area with two catheters either side of my groin to facilitate the ablation plus one for urinary, ouch. Had to spend the night in hospital. Not as traumatic as I was expecting. In

Well, the newest sensor I have just inserted today is still in the warm-up period. It'll be like that until around 6:10 pm, USA time. So far, so good. Bien, el sensor más nuevo que acabo de insertar hoy todavía es en el período del calentamiento. Parecerá a esto aproximadamente hasta las 18:10, tiempo

Just Diagnosed with breast cancer
Hello dear women who struggle with breast cancer. I am new to all of this as I was just diagnosed two days ago with Breast Cancer after biopsy. I'm not sure what stage I'm at, the doctor thinks stage zero. I go in Tuesday to talk about options for a full or partial mastectomy. Any advice on nutrition

Post Ablation for SVT
Hi. I'm wondering if it's normal to feel weak after cardiac ablation? Also is it normal to develop depression, anxiety and or sleep disturbances? I was told I'd be better in a week. I had my procedure on November 16, 2016 and I still feel like my get up and go got up and left. I have so much to do and

Partial thyroidectomy
Hi, I'm new to the group and would really appreciate some advice. I had an MRI scan which revealed an incidental finding - a thyroid mass. I've had an ultrasound and an FNA. The FNA showed no trace of malignancy but as there are malignant features on the ultrasound I am now scheduled to have the right

Hypothyroid - sister's results
I have had help in past with my abnormal thyroid results and been able to convince my GP of my levothyroxine dosage needs in order for me to feel normal. My sister has been totally exhausted for years but has always been told her results are normal, which indeed they seem to be. But that is how I started

Strange Week with the DEXCOM (Semana extraña con el DEXCOM)
So, it's Tuesday evening and for most of the day (and a few days before since Friday last week) the DEXCOM has been going in and out. It keeps showing question marks and an hour glass. It also had stopped working for most of today while I was at my Senior Center. For the 3-hour waiting period before

New Blood Work and New Endo
Hi. I have posted before about my pituitary adenoma that wasn't responding to treatment and asked for a second opinion on that and my thyroid. The new endo tested everything including adrenal but I don't have those results yet as they went through the hospital. The endo thinks I have a different type

Partial or total thyroidectomy?!
Hi there all. I've have been told I have 3 nodules on my thyroid, 2 on the right lobe both approx 1 cm, and one on my left lobe, approx 4 mm. I've had a FNA on the largest one which has given an equivocal result and was therefore inconclusive so my endocrinologist has recommended I have at least a partial

Tracheal deviation, cough, sputum
Hi all, It's been a while since I've been on here. The past few months have been up & down. I was put on Thyroxine 3 months ago due to several symptoms and multinodular thyroid. Bare in mind that I had a partial thyroidectomy 7 years ago. I had a MRI scan of the neck which showed tracheal deviation
