cardiac ablation
my cardiologist had recommended an ablation a year ago but I choose to wait. I’ve had very few episodes on Flecinide and Eliquis. Now he’s saying my heart rate is getting too low and we need to revisit having the ablation. I’m looking for feedback from those who have had the procedure.

Pain still 15 years after event.
15 years ago I had a sudden
cardiac
arrest
with 11 min CPR and 5 shocks. Since then, whenever I overuse my chest muscles e.g. gardening, swimming etc I am left with an achey, sickly pain in my chest which can last fir hours.

When to complete DVLA form
In middle of last month I suffered a

arrest
. After 5 days in CCU consultant decided to implant CRT-D (pacemaker/defibrillator) device. Now, I am aware I am banned from driving for 6 months. But when do I inform DVLA. Now?

Thank you everyone for your kind words. i will stay on 11mg pred for the time being. I am really struggling with the side effects of the various pain killers, blood pressure meds and water tablets; everything seems to list nausea, constipation and sleepiness as a side effect. The nausea in particular

The entire world is in an anxiety meltdown particularly in America! Hearts don't go out of rhythm for no reason
Having had 10 cardioversions and two ablations that left me a shell of my former self and medically traumatised me and damaged my heart, I implore you all to look deeper within yourself and attend to any old trauma from childhood any time in your life that has contributed to your carrying fear worry

So now I'm a bit scared.
The sort of rhythm that when sustained can lead to ventricular fibrillation and possible
cardiac
arrest
. Still it was short runs of just a few seconds so I was surprised by the new rhythm, but I thought it not concerning due to how brief it was.

What do my hearties think I need some opinions.
However, 2 months ago While walking my dog I suffered a Sudden out of hospital
Cardiac
Arrest
. I won’t bore you with the details but apparently not a scenario that a lot of people survive to the extent I have. A lot of people helped me that day.

Can a new drug mimic the effects of exercise on bone and muscle?
Looks like this is something we should look forward to and keep an eye out for approval. Researchers have recently discovered that a new drug called locamidazole may help to prevent loss of bone density and muscle mass during periods of inactivity, but it’s no substitute for all of the benefits of exercise
