Struggling with husband's hypoxic brain injury
My husband had a
cardiac
arrest
4 years ago and was unconscious for a while. Although he's physically doing okay - gets tired but coping, still doing some work, he's really struggled emotionally with hypoxic brain injury symptoms.

fear of dying
my ongoing problem is I now have a fear of going into
cardiac
arrest
if I have an AF episode. I’ve kept this fear to myself and tried to bury my head in the sand. It’s not working. does anyone else feel the same. I’m 65 female.

Breathlessness
hi everyone, I wonder if I could have some advice! I’m having what I assume is a lupus flare (although my pain isn’t as bad as it sometimes gets), my main issue is over the last week I’ve become increasingly breathless. My blood pressure, pulse rate and blood oxygen is all normal. I have no temperature

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month ❤️
Did you know that Sudden
Cardiac
Arrest
(SCA) claims more than 100,00 lives each year in the UK? 80% of these lives could be saved if only a defibrillator was used together with CPR. Do you know where your nearest defibrillator is?

Is medical language going over your head? 😷
It is easy to feel overwhelmed with the amount of medical language being used when discussing Sudden
Cardiac
Arrest
(SCA). We have created a helpful booklet packed with a glossary explaining medical terms, condition, information and all the resources you’ll need.

First FET
Yeaterday we had our tested embygirl transferred. She is 6AA final grade and according to doctor everything was looking great. I hope she sticks. Wanted to hear your experiences days after transfer, did you do bed rest / couch potato / back to work? My clinic says take it easy first 3 days but no bed

Exercise after a Cardiac Arrest and Heart Attack
I found that there was little or no guidance on exercise after my
cardiac
arrest
(unsurprising as we were in the middle of a pandemic) and nothing on YouTube other than rather dated, uninspring videos from people who didn't really understand what a person with broken ribs and severe pain after CPR was

Unexplained pain
He also had a pacemaker fitted about 8 years ago after
cardiac
arrest
, thought to be linked to thyroid problems. Since the bypass operation he has had three episodes of severe pain in the centre of his lower chest/ upper abdomen. Lasting about 2 hours then going away on its own.

Tachycardia
Rather a long post I’m afraid. In 2000 I was 44 and developed unstable angina over 4 months. My husband had BUPA with his work so I saw a cardiologist quickly, put on aspirin, Bisoprolol and GTN. The cardiologist was always unsure whether it was a blockage to my LAD or a spasm and I was due to undergo

Ablation damage
Hi, Would anyone know, if there is a possibility of permanent heart muscle damage during a cardiac ablation for someone who has suffered from Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome with Af that could cause something more serious in the future and what tests would be needed to identify this problem if damage
