Awaiting endometrial ablation and excision of endo surgery has anyone else found this to have helped?
Hello, I saw my consultant yesterday and discussed further surgery options, seems I don't have many options as my bowel and uterus are stuck together so can't have the hysterectomy I'd hoped for. I'm now awaiting to have endometrial ablation and removal of adhesions on ureters along with endo removal

Endo and adeno found during hysterectomy (its a long post)
This is going to be long sorry but any infor would be good! Was having all the classic symptoms of endoalong with a very low immune system and was getting very ill. Had various tests including ultrasound. This all started in around June this year, though I have had some of the symptoms for a good few

letter from hospital, but i really cannot understand it as it contradicts itself.....wondered what you thought
i haven't posted for quite a while but have received a copy of the letter that the consultant sent to my GP, and i'm really confused. Going back over my symptoms etc, i have been seeing my GP for 2 years which is when i felt i could not cope any longer with how much my periods were affecting my life

Adenomyosis and total abdominal hysterectomy
Hi I am scheduled to have a total abdominal hysterectomy. Going to try and keep the ovaries unless he sees a problem with them. I have tried all sorts of hormone pills and painkillers.I had an endometrial ablation 4 weeks ago and have had constant bleeding since. I feel this is the only option left

Frustrated and confused!!!
Will try and keep this very brief! I have head heavy and painful periods on and off for a few years, I have not had a lap yet. Over the last 8 months or so they have got a lot worse, I have to have time off work and need to change pads etc every half hour with large clots. The other symptoms I have

Gynae appointment brought forward to today as there was a cancellation....
the hospital rang on friday and said i could come in today instead of 22nd august, ideal - he agreed to refer me for the endometrial ablation, also had my pre-op today, so assuming all that was ok, i will need one more scan before the procedure and then it will be done, and i can have this wretched mirena

just sounding off really - it's been about 12 days since my period finished, and it's been quite a good 12 days, i've felt quite well, usually even when not on my period i have the gnawing, tugging pain in my lower left pelvis, but it's been much milder so i've been able to do so much more......and you

shortest scan in history i think
been waiting for my scan, finally it came yesterday, the main reason for the scan was to check on a large cyst that they found 3 months ago, that they suspected was a haemorragic or endometrioma - quick recap in case you haven't come across me before: heavy bleeding, contraction like pain when on

Endometrial Ablation (Novosure)
I was diagnosed with Endometriosis very quickly in November 2011 and had a biopsy and ultrasound to confirm it. As I didn't want the pill or the coil I was recommended for the Novosure treatment. I had this 5 days ago. I was very surprised as to how much pain I would be in and bleeding too. The pain

I have been having amjor problems with my periods in heaviness and duration and am now under the gynaecologist. Due to previous problems (pe's) i am not allowed to take most of the meds available. I have been given 2 options to consiider - Mirena coil and endometrial ablation. I am not keen on the coil
