went into afib on Friday and I stll am , I had cardiac ablation that they said was successful at the beginning of January. I was at the GP yesterday and had a ecg which came back afib . Does this mean now it has failed ??

Had Cardiac Ablation and Cardioversion in November, initially worked well, but irregular heartbeat has returned, confirmed by ECG at GP surgery. I feel awful, struggling to get upstairs because of breathlessness but can’t get a cardio appointment until the end of May.

On June 1 2022 I had a heart attack followed by cardiac arrests both in and out of hospital. In July 2022 I had a CRT-D fitted (an ICD device).

Hi all, Since I had a Cardiac ablation in 2022, I have struggled with not being able to exert myself on exercise. Just recently confirmed moderate hyperinflation, with an 'unfurled pulmonary aorta '. Did not have breathing issues before the ablation.

The A-Flutter came back after 9 months and I had cardiac ablation which resulted in NSR for 7 months. I had a two more ablations but the A- Flutter came back after a few months. I am now being told I should try a medication called Tikosyn.

I had my cardiac ablation on Friday 30/8/24 general aneasthetic and home yesterday. Chest a bit sore but not too bad and most of all AF is gone although still some ectopics. I know its early days though the EP did say he had identified the AF locations and is confident he has ablated them.

Following roughly 10 years of AF I had ablation in 2009. On 31 August, aged 59, I suffered a cardiac arrest and my second son, who is now 25 performed CPR on me and saved my life. When the medics arrived they managed to get my heart pumping again.

I had a cardiac ablation for atrial fibrillation last week and am now in the three month recovery period, just easing back into normal life, and trying to avoid any triggers for AF. Using the Therapulse never seemed to affect it before, but I am a bit wary in present situation.

I had an ablation under a very skilled EP in London who successfully ablated the problematic area of the heart using radiofrequency ablation. I was PVC free for 2 hours before they slowly resumed back to normal. 5 months on and no difference and they are back in full force.

I was on 7mg prednisone, easing into 6.75, when I had my cardiac ablation on April 15. Went back to 7 mg however, upped it with cardiac inflammation, 5 mgs for 5 days and resumed 7. Then I developed a chest cold with fever and put on abx. Used sick day rules and now back to 7.

I had cardiac ablation for WPW following an episode of SVT a few years ago and had no cardiac issues following that. Recently I attended A&E twice with chest pain, bloods normal but ecg read non specific abnormality. I do suffer with health anxiety and have since the the svt episodes.
