Exercise after one day after ablation, really? Should I?
So Monday I had my
cardiac
ablation
. Found out I have SVT and not Atrial Flutter. I feel great. Meaning I did not expect to feel as well as I am. I have no bruises and feel hardly any pain. EP doc said I could immediately start jogging and working out if I wanted and not to worry about etopics.

Amiodrone Vs Av-node ablation
I must decide between the two. I am opting for A V node ablation. I have hypertrophic cardio myopathy and something is detached to 60, I guess my septrum. I just want to get rid of breathlessness and fatigue. I have heard that the node ablation can do that....could anyone share their experiences with

Post Ablation 3 months
It has been three months since my
cardiac
ablation
for PAC's and irregular beats. It hasn't been easy for me by any means. Almost every side effect that could happen has happened.

AV node ablation and pacing
Hi. Has anyone out there had an AV node ablation and pacemaker fitted. If so, what was your experience. I am under pressure to make a decision ASAP (had four unsuccessful ablations, the last one ending in emergency surgery) any comments would be appreciated.

Fast uncontrolled A/fib and A/flutter
Hi I’m new here. Twenty five year history of arrhythmias. Initially medication as and when. Then regular medication of sotalol twice daily. Eventually doing rates up to 270bpm. Four catheter ablations. First one they did a pulmonary vein isolation and isthmus line, resulting in atrial flutter. The second

I'm worried I have Ovarian Cancer
I'm 43 and in July i started having little sharp pains down by right ovary. I have had bad/painful periods for some time, figured it was due to pre menopausal symptoms. In August I went to the ER for pain in my right side, back and upper abdomen, I thought it was my gall bladder because it hurt so

Second Catheter Ablation
I had my second Catheter Ablation five weeks ago. My first ablation was performed in January 2016, After 6 month's of missing pulse and chest flutters they decided to perform a 2nd Ablation on the 13th, September 2017 to stop me returning to full blown A-Fib. As before, I started to get the above mentioned

AF and anxiety
Hello to all fellow sufferers of AF. I have had Paroxysmal AF for 18 years and it has manifested itself in many different forms. I have had 5 ablations and I would say that only the first one really made any kind of difference. In fact the last couple of ablations seems to have made the AF worse,

Getting there
In July I had a sympatectomy. The doctors had to cut a group of nerves in my shoulder close to my spine just below the base of my neck to get heart to knock off the intermittent AF and VF. My AF started in 2004. It cause me to go into cardiac arrest. Since then I worked with the doctors to get my AF

Heart Failure and AF: Where Does Ablation Fit in?
This is an interesting Medscape article. https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/886088?src=wnl_edit_tpal&uac=232755DZ#vp_2 A couple of statements made are: "Look at which type of procedure is performed by your electrophysiologist. Pulmonary vein isolation alone is not enough." "I think that today you

Constant bleeding
In February I had a novasure endometrial ablation. At the time my periods were heavy but regular and no spotting between periods. Since the op I have had spotting every few days and still regular heavy periods. The spotting has now got worse and is more like a continuous period. I was having the spotting

Migraine aura
I was aware that procedures involving a trans-septal puncture sometimes result in a migraine aura; as an occasional migraine sufferer, I was prepared for this. During my lie flat recovery period after the catheter ablation, I noticed that I was getting a dull area of vision in the centre of my field

Hybrid ablation. Mini-maze six months ago. Now its time for the catheter.
I am part of a clinical trial testing the effectiveness of a minimaze follwed by a catheter ablation compared to repeated catheter ablations. The minimaze was completed in April to great effect, my heart settled down after two weeks and only one short periods of AF in May since then. After two cancellations

Anyone have a Phrenic Nerve Injury after Catheter Ablation ?
I had mine on September 12th 2017 and I am still having shortness of breath. I don't know if I have been out of A Fib since about 2 days after it being done. I only think that way because when I take my blood pressure my monitor I use says there is an irregularity. I have not gone back to see my EC

TAKE HEART, A. Fibbers and A. Flutterers
I got sinus rhythm, which I got it six months ago following my
cardiac
ablation
at the City Hospital in Nottingham. I accept that my A fib might return but the longer I am in NSR the less likely this is. And Isn't this a lovely picture? The Holy Grail for all us A Fibbers and A Flutterers.

Newbie- suspected endometriosis
Hi, I'm new to this site and found it like many others looking for answers to the symptoms I'm experiencing. At nearly 47 years old it appears I'm quite old to be suffering the symptoms associated with 'endo'. I had an endometrial ablation almost 2 years ago due to suffering from very heavy periods and

Hybrid ablation part 2
I am part of a clinical trial to judge the outcomes of a mini maze procedure followed by a catheter ablation compared to two catheter ablations. I had been in persistent AF since Feb 2016, give or take a few weeks after cardioversion. I had the mini maze on April 6th. Since then I have been predominantly
