Anyone out there with recurrent non-metastatic breast cancer?
I was first diagnosed in 2009 with stage 2 IDC(invasive ductal
carcinoma
) in my right breast. Had a lumpectomy, chemo (ACT) and 6 weeks of radiation. In March 2013, I found another lump in the same breast. Had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction.

A Conversation with Dr Tam about Zanubrutinib: A Novel BTK Inhibitor
Zanubrutinib has fewer off-target effects on related enzymes, including the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), interleukin 2–inducible T-cell kinase (ITK), Janus kinase 3 (JAK3), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), and tyrosine kinase expressed in hematopoietic
carcinoma
(TEC).

New paper in course of acceptance
In short, the state and response to T4 of a patient with thyroiditis is different from one having had
carcinoma
, and different again from goitre. I infer from this that before treatment, epigenetic changes unique to each situation have altered gene expression differently.

Silent Reflux after Lung Surgery for Early Cancer
My lung cancer was found by chance during routine scan/monitoring of anal
carcinoma
for which I still have to undergo mapping and examination under general anaesthetic. I had no symptoms of lung cancer and I know I am lucky it was caught early.
