hypothyroid following partial thyroidectomy. Question about HRT and optimum T4 levels.
The nodule was examined and contained micropapliiary
carcinoma
. No further treatment needed for that thankfully, as it was entirely removed. I am now hypothyroid. I had hyperparathyroidism which caused osteoporosis, so am taking HRT oestrogen patch and utrogestan to strengthen my bones.

Recurrent DCIS
Hi all I had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy about eight years ago to deal with ductal
carcinoma
in situ (DCIS) it has now recurred, what an absolute pain. I’ve had a mammogram and ultrasound and the radiologist thinks I will need surgery. I won’t know for sure until next Wednesday.

Essential Thrombocytosis and having knee surgery
I have no cardio issues, no diabetes, normal weight but have had a nephrectomy about 3.5 years ago (renal cell
carcinoma
- no lymph involvement) and prostate cancer- prostectomy 3 years ago. Unlucky, but grateful to be active and enjoying life with chronic knee pain and swelling.

Squamous Cell Carcinoma: recurrence after Mohs
My dad, 84 yo, Dx with CLL 10 years ago, had a recurrence of a Squamous Cell
Carcinoma
on his scalp after the Mohs surgery last year. The recurrent
carcinoma
is still relatively small. Did you have experience like that ? What were the treatment options ?

Can't sleep post total thyroidectomy :(
Hello I had a total thyrotecomy in December 2021 due to suspicious nodules which later turned out to be a micro papillary
carcinoma
. I was placed on levothyroxine 100mcg daily. Been having trouble sleeping since. Fragmented light sleep. I don't get any deep sleep at all.
