I was wondering if anyone has used Verzenio after Ibrance and Fulvestrant have failed? I did get a couple good years on the Ibrance/Fulvestrant I am ER+ HR- and have used all my hormone treatment options and am facing IV Chemo. However my Dr. says Verzenio may be an option. ‘Thanks for any encouraging

LORIS AI predicts patient outcomes with immune checkpoint blockade therapy
Sort of important because immune checkpoint blockade therapy apparently has a lower success rate that bat bipolar androgen therapy. LORIS robustly predicts patient outcomes with immune checkpoint blockade therapy using common clinical, pathologic and genomic features | Nature Cancer Https://www.nature.com

CTC circulating tumor cell count
I haven’t seen too much mention of CTC tests when PSA rises. Some rises at very low levels are not clearly correlated or confirmed by PET scans. So why isn’t CTC used, too expensive, inaccurate, most men lack a baseline test? Just curious if anyone tests this and what their experience has been

Some good news…
I’ve been trying to figure out some extreme lower back pain, and had another PSMA/PET scan today. I had visions of cancerous spread to my spine, and wanted to check things. Well, while it didn’t solve my back pain questions, it
did
gave me some
good news.

Striving to walk again, more progression, radiation and Trodelvy advice and prayers most welcome.
Hello all! It has been a long time since I posted as my path has been plodding - learning to walk again, discovering even more bone progression, being pulled off Xeloda as it wasn’t working, more radiation and now Trodelvy. The extensive bone mets are making physical therapy a challenge for sure and

BC Update with GP.
First I rang Macmillan and they thought it very odd my cancer had gone from high to low. So rang my consultants secretary and she was not there, the people in charge said they were not qualified to help. I saw my GP today and like myself had a letter with no details at the top, this matters because

Is Ozone Therapy effective?
I have a close friend who I respect her opinion and she insists that Ozone Therapy would help fight cancer. What say the great minds here? Ozone Therapy for Tumor Oxygenation: a Pilot Study - PMC Systemic Review: Ozone: A Potential New Chemotherapy - PMC Frontiers | Ozone therapy for high-grade glioma

Is there an "oligometastatic state" for prostate cancer (but not in breast cancer or lung cancer)?
The concept of an "oligometastatic state" is that there exists an early stage where metastases are few in number and are in some way different from metastases that develop later. It also means that there are no micrometastases in systemic circulation (in bone and lymph) and in reservoirs like bone, nerve

Oesophageal Sphincter
Hello. My wife had gastro-oesophageal cancer 12 years ago and had surgery to remove the cancer. Thankfully all was successful and she leads a very normal life. As one knows, post surgery one cannot lie down flat as the oesophageal sphincter has been removed thus causing acid to come up from the stomach
