If you are considering using curcumin as some supplemental therapy, I think it's worth pointing out that you 'may' consider:

-> taking it with some fat.

-> taking it with pepperine.

When you ingest it, your liver will try to detoxify it. The pepperine will inhibit this somewhat.

So you could take less of the curcumin and get more absorption. I think that's what I read about it.

That being said, you should also think about why your liver is detoxifying it in the first place...

See what your med team think about it first.

I use meriva and theracurmin to detoxify my liver after chemo.
