Thanks & a question about periods, ( sorry ladies, and men!). More correctly , lack of them!
Dear all, many thanks for all postings about cimzia. I feel more informed and buoyed by others good news stories. Does anyone know , have experience of missed periods. I've not had 1 in 8 months. Not that I'm moaning, I'm definitely not pregnant!! Doctor has ruled out going through the change through

Alarms set -back to work tomorrow
Well I've had a month off now. I'm back to work in the morning. Alarm is set for 5:30. Sigh. A little scared as I feel better that work will bring me down and ill feel ill again. My GP suggests i do a phased return which i mentioned to the acting nurse manager, who really didn't seem interested. So

The count down begins
Well Friday I received the long awaited call that I am able to start cimzia next week. I've been in a flair for a few weeks now, been unable to face work for over a week and been a poor excuse of a mum to my daughter. I am kinda scared and excited. Scared at the whole drug thing but excited at the prospect

Becoming informed about Behcet's
I wanted to point out to Xandi that I spent 10 DAYS (not years) as a hospital inpatient in NIH's Behcet's Natural History Study (Washington D.C. / Bethesda) where I was evaluated by a team of doctors and tested almost to death. It was fascinating and of course, I was confirmed as having complete Behcet's

Cimzia and Orencia
I've had RA for about 5 1/2 years. I have been taking Humira for more than 5 years and recently had to stop since I was having some weird reactions. It had also seemed to lose its effectiveness the past year or 2. Me and my Dr. decided that I would start Orencia or Cimzia soon and I've been researching

Conflicting autoimmune diseases
Hi - this is my 1st post though I have posted a question related to my condition. I was diagnosed with RA 3 years ago, though was wrongly diagnosed with Sjogrens a year before that so missed 12 months of effective treatment. I have gone through the usual treatments - MTX, Leflunomide, Cimzia, Enbrel
