My 2 year old has been ill for the past week, out of hours gp on tuesday told us it was viral and to just give

Anyone with kids/grandkids/nieces:nephews etc here that have used the
calpol
plug in? I put it on tonight for my lg just for 30mins as she's all clogged up but my god, I can't even go into the room. My face is actually sore from coughing! Does it have this affect on anyone else?

Sleep training?!?
I've tried giving her food, cuddles, dummies, more milk, having her in bed with us,
Calpol
, teething stuff....everything. 😢 she wakes up screaming, so she's in her own room, she settles back down after a feed, but why is she feeding this much? Its so out if character.

Free non prescription medicine for those on free prescriptions!
Boots participate and I think you have to register at the chemists for it but then you can get things like
calpol
and paracetamol free. The officicial info is here: http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Pharmacy/Pages/Commonconditions.aspx Just curious.

ICU acquired weakness, pancreatitis nightmare
Hi, I'm new here. Found this site while looking for information about ICUAW. All I've been able to find is written in technical medical jargon, which I can't make sense of. I'll start from the beginning, and try not to go on for too long... Back in November, my 44 year old brother went in for emergency

Severe Sleep Issues
I have tried many things to settle him, like dentinox,
calpol
, dummy, bottle with water, but have found that milk is the only thing to settle him, but even that doesn't last long.

Haldol Injection for Parkinsons Patient!!! PART 1
Can't find a sufficient word to express the magnitude of the horror I am now living. I already HAD drug induced Parkinsons diagnosed in 2006. It was a fairly moderate case other than balance and severe executive functioning only cognitive disorder. It had been stable over the last 2 yrs or so. I've been

Anyone heard of the nhs minor ailments scheme?
She said to just pop to boots & they will give you some
calpol
for free! We didn't as we already have some & she doesn't like it anyway- but googled it when we got home & there is all sorts you can get as an alternative to going to the docs for minor illnesses including conjunctivitis & thrush.

Teething and sleep?
She's bottle fed and has had some
calpol
but I don't really want to give her that any more than I have to. I don't mind the night feeds and soothing but my hubby is struggling with being back at work! Thanks everyone x

Breastfeeding, on going tummy trouble and mood swings
On the plus side I found a way of administering
calpol
this morning that meant it didn't get spat back out, a
calpol
syringe fits perfectly into a tommee tippee bottle teat, works a treat. Hope you are doing better than me!x
