Can I just stop AA
Also I have been changing my diet to include more
calcium
and over the last few years have taken up Pilates and more recently doing loads of walking. And just ordered a weighted vest to help with weight bearing. I’ve always done yoga and still do .

Anyone recognise these symptoms?
All normal apart from high
calcium
markers in the hair (this does not show on a blood test). After a disastrous year of advice, more supplements and trying to add more foods my digestion gives in to three weeks of profuse watery diarrhea and pain.

A pint a day
Drunchies beware. zach-meaney-248696-unsplash_cropped 4) It’s good for your bones Beer contains a plant hormone called phytoestrogen, which is key to building dense bones, plus has
calcium
and dietary silicon, important for growth and development of bone and connective tissues.

Calcium intake....my bones and joints are really sore
I am currently taking a pregnancycare vitamin which doesn’t show it has
calcium
in it. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to help my poor bones. I’ve looked at
calcium
vitamins but it’s saying not to take unless consulted by a doctor so I’m a bit unsure. Thanks everyone xxx 😘

Zoledronic Acid ~Infusion
My blood test also showed
calcium
slighty below the range. So, I have been referred for a Zoledronic Acid infusion in a couple of months time. I refused Aledronic Acid. My hip is showing a T score of -1.6 and Osteopenia I am pretty sure this hasn't changed in 2 years but can't find the results.

Advice wanted on supplements to take to try and manage osteoporosis the natural way
A definite bit of advice coming through it to take organic
calcium
, eg Algecal. This seems to be pretty expensive. So, first question is:
Are there any less expensive, but effective, organic
supplement ? Other supplements.

Update since last post
I just wanted to give you an update on what happened when I spoke with my doctor... it’s safe to say the doctor was not happy I got a private blood test done, she was confused to the results being so different and was basically slagging off the results saying vitamin d should be tested as well as
calcium

Weird side effect or issue from T4?
I've been having this about 3 weeks. About half an hour/one hour after taking Levothyroxine, me head feels 'swimmy' a bit like if you've ever had valium or lightheadedness after a drink on an empty stomach. It's not very pleasant (a bit like a virus) and it seems to go on for the rest of the day. It

Please help - recently discovered various issues which may all be linked to thyroid disorder? Still in the dark, no Endo appointment yet
I gave these to my GP practice and it was the 2nd GP (who now finally seems to be taking sole responsibility for me) who called to put me on an intensive loading course of Vitamin D (50,000 IU once a week for 6 weeks, blood test to check
calcium
and kidney function after dose 4).

I hate psychiatrists and I dont know what to do
Okay, this is gonna be a long one so buckle up! I had my first huge panic attack when I was 17. It was in class, triggered by a random dizzy spell. I went to my primary care doctor and told her about it. She immediately prescribed me .25 Xanax to take as needed and Zoloft. I didn't even know anything

I'm new at this and it all sounds very alarming
So I am on 15 mg of Pred + preventive pills for stomach and
calcium
. Miraculously, the pain had gone in five hours and providing I take these pills in the monring, I am more or less pain free. But I read of everyone else being on much lower doses, down to 1 or 2 mg.

Do I see a endocrinologist or rheumatologist for osteoporosis?
Right now, I am taking
calcium
and D supplements and trying to exercise, follow the COMB study protocol, and see if my scores will improve. I know eventually I will have to go on Fosomax or some medication.

Ingredients in Actavis causing bloating ?
I take iron daily (away from other meds and
calcium
) and I take vitamin D spray and chewable Acidophilus. I avoid lactose and am fine with wholemeal gluten products. I was taking Wokhardt a few weeks ago and didn’t have bloating issues.

Almost 4 months since GCA diagnosis and can't get my shoes on for swollen ankles.
Also, because of my acid reflux problems, I've been unable to take
calcium
supplements, although I'm ok with oil based vitamin D. If I'm
calcium
deficient, can this affect my blood pressure and kidney function?

Need advice about Heart Health
So now Im getting worried should I get my heart checked (CT
Calcium
score). I do eat healthy and walk a lot but I now take methotrexate for my arthritis and have the odd heart flutter so Im thinking should I get health insurance or pay for a CT
Calcium
score for peace of mind.
