Diet and B vitamins
Hello, I take a daily supplement dose of plant based vitamin B12 Complex and try to eat a range of foods that are healthy. I drink alcohol - maybe 5 units four/five times a week and I read that maybe I should take additional B vitamins to cover myself against there being insufficient to counteract this

LU 177- Pluvicto- Help with reducing damage to Lacrimal glands, Salivary Glands and the Liver
My husband has his first of 6 injections of LU-177 - Pluvicto in about a week. His MO/RO provided zero help with how to mitigate the side effects of damage to lacrimal, salivary glands and the liver. There was a PubMed clinical study where they iced the neck, gave eye drops, 10% mannitol IV before

Newbie here but need help
Hi all, I am new here but could really use some help. For months now I’ve been having a lot of symptoms, tired, achy bones and muscles, hair loss, terrible headaches and migraines every day. The list goes on. I finally went to the GP which ordered bloods. A long list of different bloods. One of which

List of private doctors
Good morning, is there a list of private doctors that would take a blood test to check for vitamins in the Glasgow area.

Help please, where do I go from here??
Hi everyone, I have had my repeat bloods and everything has come back ‘satisfactory’. I know that doesn’t mean optimal but I also know I’m going to have a hard time convincing the doctor that! I had my free T4 and anti bodies tested at the hospital when I saw the consultant last week, I have requested

Vitamins?
I am reducing my dose to 75mg as per previous post (TSH 0.035 0.27-4.2T4 21.5 12-22 and T3 4.4. 3.1-6.8) I was wondering about my supplements and what I could take to help. I have restarted my Vit D300+K2 spray. Inflammation CRP 3.07 <3 Ferritin 230 30-332 Folate

Recommendation request for 2nd opinion and interpretation of results
I'm looking for feedback (via private DM please) from anyone who has been seen by Mr Barnes (Endocrinologist) at Tunbridge Wells or a Dr Christine Suppelt, Rose Cottage Clinic also in Kent. Would appreciate any perspectives on either clinician, both of whom I found on the Thyroid UK practitioners' list

Poor GP response for years!
Hello. First time poster here Long story short I have been taking Levothyroxine for around 8 years and within this time I have had a constant battle with my GP to manage my symptoms. Unfortunately I have found that it does depend on which GP you get as to whether they will increase Levothyroxine.

BC pharmacare not paying for romosozumab
I am from BC Canada. My GP gave me a prescription for romosozumab/Evenity. I have 6 fractures of the spine the last few months and treating lymphoma also. I've been told by pharmacy that I would have to pay full price $666 per month till my $2,000 deductible is filled and then pharma care does not

Vitamins to help bone healing
A recent broken wrist has led me to discover the importance of Vitamin C in bone health. Unsurprising really, as it's important for collagen formation. Here is a nice little article outlining the role various nutrients have in maintaining bone health: https://www.webmd.com/osteoporosis/osteo-fracture-diet

Being gas-lit: NOT Hypothyroidism, it’s Silent Reflux says Consultant Thyroid/ENT – Advice requested.
I’m now 73. It’s six years since I first presented to a GP with a swelling on my neck and poor concentration, which within a fortnight progressed to include zombie-like brain fog. Fearing lymphoma I was fast-tracked for an ultrasound scan on my thyroid which showed multiple tiny swellings on my left

I am in the throws of reading Chris van Tulleken's book Ultra-Processed People. It has been an eye opener. Not that one hasn't been aware of the harms of processed food but perhaps one has been unaware at how extensive it is and also how seemingly malicious for corporate gain? What does come out is
