LU 177- Pluvicto- Help with reducing damage to Lacrimal glands, Salivary Glands and the Liver

My husband has his first of 6 injections

of LU-177 - Pluvicto in about a week.

His MO/RO provided zero help with how to mitigate the side effects of damage to lacrimal, salivary glands and the liver.

There was a PubMed clinical study where they iced the neck, gave eye drops, 10% mannitol IV before and after injection, polyglutamate folate tablets.

Please provide any suggestions on what to do to help prevent damage.

Has anyone been given amifostine (Ethyol) IV?

This drug also has side effects of drop in blood pressure, nausea and low calcium level in blood.

Thank you for any help.

if you post this on Advanced Prostate Cancer group you will most likely find very experienced warriors that have been treated with Pluvicto.

There are tons of posts in Advance Prostate STAGE 4 H.U. history "tagged" Pluvicto where you may find the answer to your question "Has anyone been given amifostine (Ethyol) IV? and the side effects"
