Ok I just read some comments about Lupron and ADT side effects and felt I had to ask the members a question. Yesterday I saw my urologist for my 6 month routine follow up. He looked at my labs and commented on how good they were for a guy on adt for two years. When he got to my kidney function his comment

Could eating Natto cure Parkinson's?
Natto is fermented soybeans and a dish traditionally eaten in Japan. See article below and the connection in how it could help cure your Parkinson's. Since it has many benefits it would be worth trying. The food itself is bland but can be mixed with other foods to be more enjoyable. You should be careful

Hashimotos for Sixteen Years, Realizing I Know Next to Nothing
This is a long story, and as with so much in this "we have too much info" age, I'm probably over-responding, but, I was recently blindsided by a new health condition, and I don't fancy having it happen again if there are cues available. I've had hypothyroidism/Hashimotos for 16-17 years, at least based

Vitamins with ADT?
Hi Tall_Allen, You do not recommend vitamins when on ADT? I am on daily Casodex, has been for several years, and I am taking - Multivitamins, C-, D-, K- vitamins and magnesium daily. Should I stop this? Can you elaborate a bit on why you do not recommend taking vitamins? Thanks in advance!

Post thyroidectomy.
Am now three weeks past total thyroidectomy and removal of numerous lymph glands. First week on levothyroxine I felt great. The last week I have been sleeping around sixteen hours a day. New results
I saw the endo last week. Told her all my symptoms but she didn’t seem interested just that my TSH and ft3&ft4 were in limits. She said a lot of my symptoms could be from something else or age related. I said about vitamins and she said she would do them so that I could take some to see if that helped

New Unproven and Untested Concept.
I noticed that in online videos many are touting higher amounts of different water soluble vitamins that those amounts recommended by the medical field and experiencing better results than the patient of the medical field. I trust their experiences somewhat. Their reasons for experiencing the results

calcium supplement
Was on 10 mg for 9 months, now down to 7 after a year. Heard of calcium supplement being prescribed for some friends (female). Is that something everyone on steroids should be taking?

Blood results within range. Is this a problem?
Hi all,
I posted this query a few days ago and it was kindly analysed for me by greygoose (comments further down). However, I didn't understand what he/she was telling me - so I wonder if anyone could explain for me? Do the results indicate hypothyroidism? Do I need meds or can I tweak via
