Good evening. I take a calcium channel blocker called Vera-Til SR 120mg, also known as Verapamil however, this particular brand is currently out of stock and I have been given an alternative which is Half Securon SR. My GP has advised that I always stick to one brand (Vera-Til SR) and the pharmacist

My apologies for posting so frequently recently but I wanted to share this in case it’s helpful for others on this forum. I have been waiting for nearly a decade to see a neurologist for my PA neurological complications and I wasn’t referred because of PA but because I started developing seizures.

Hi all, I am on Cordilox (AKA Verapamil) which is a calcium channel blocker. Currently taking 2x40 mg twice a day = 160mg/day. Cardiologist suggested I change to one SLOW RELEASE 180mg tablet/day. When I asked. why he kind of said it will result in more even levels of the drug through the day. He

Involuntary jerks in left side of upper body
I am 67 year old male on PD for the last three and half years. Of late for the last two weeks, I find I invlountarily get jerks in left side of upper body. The jerks are like hiccups. Wandering Scot presently living in Mexico and recently diagnosed with PMR
I was diagnosed a few weeks ago with PMR after being first told I had gout and then it was emotional. Pain in my neck and shoulders and exhaustion had been going on for about 9 months but I kept thinking I was sitting the wrong way at my computer or sleeping the wrong way so would take an over-the-counter

Wisdom on T3 dosage and calcium and T4
I have been given, I think, the lowest dosage of T3 - 5mg which I have to split in half to take twice a day (7 am and 12am). I understand dosage is based on weight but I could be wrong. I weigh 60kg (height 5’7”). I feel I need another dose at 5 pm or so as I start to yawn extremely and struggle to

Best podcast and book resources I've found
I'm going to recommend a couple of podcast episodes and books for osteoporosis. There is so much information out there, and some of it may not be well researched. So this is what I've found most helpful so far. 1. The Bone Coach Episode #15 - He interviews Dr. Lara Giongregorio, Ph. D. who works
