Anyone experienced recurrent meningitis? And did you get any answers as to why it keeps happening?
I had meningitis four years ago (suspected bacterial, but was already heavily medicated with IV antibiotics and steroids prior to my lumbar puncture) viral meningitis two years later, and now here I am again slowly recovering from a third bout of viral meningitis. I have about 2 years of peace between

Severe canker sores with Ibrance
I’ve tried almost every over-the-counter and dexamethasone and magic mouse any other ideas? It really is difficult to go back-and-forth on the cycles of Ibrance. Anybody trying a lower dosage or an alternate medicine or anything else?

Personal experience with Cushing’s Disease (hyperCortisolism) and with hypothroidism and hypothyroidism.
This was actually a response I wrote to a user that asked how hyperthyroidism is in tandem with hyperCortisolism. It’s long, I hope readers realize I am not an expert in what I have written, but I have lived it! Some of the way this response is worded may sound out of context, I copied it from my original

Dexamethasone
Does anyone in our community know anything about dexamethasone? I was put on it to raise blood platelets prior to a tooth extraction. It did raise my platelets from 22 to 80 but really did a number on me with diabolical side effects. My haematologist suggests I go on a 25 mg dose once every two weeks

Prompted by the Nalakrats / Tall_Allen Debate.
I leave my computer for a few hours & suddenly Bill48162 has 31 replies & Nalakrats is up to 64. steroid eye implant
Hi all. I had an Ozurdex steroid implant in my eye on Monday 21st May. It wasn't much different from the Eyelea injections of which I've had nine. Disappointingly, my vison is much worse post implant and although I know it will take time for the eye to heal, I am worried about the blurring and dark,
