I've had oral ulcers and really bad genital ulcers on & off for two years also just getting small nodules like follulicolitus on arms , also achy joints - but get the flare ups say every 3-4 months ... Daughter on 3rd course of steroids in 4 weeks

any1 know much about dexamethasone
I have just returned from a hospital check up and they have stopped my pred steroid (have been on 40mg a day for the past 4 months and have now changed me on to dexamethasone 8mg daily. What is the difference between the 2 steroids and y would they change it

Has anyone ever been on Betamethasone tablets? Ive been changed to them from the pred! Or Atarax antihistamines? Cons has put wrong dose of atarax on note for GP but had them ONCE before so should be on file! I am really nervous about the new steroid tablets but its possible I am resistant to the pred

Ok thought I would start a thread on steroid munchies !! Whatever steroid tabs etc you take whats the worst, strangest, mad thing you crave for on steroids munchies ?? Just I've noticed on betamethasone tabs I just have to satisfy a craving regardless of time or what it is !! But on Pred I could ignore
