Hi all, day 1 of Buserelin injection this morning. The injection site is red and itchy, is this normal? Any tips going forwards would be really appreciated too - nerves are a lot! Thank you.

Yes, sounds normal. I find it bearable but you could try an ice pack before / after application to see if that helps? Good luck! 🙏🏼

Try applying ice before and after and make sure you release the full amount before pulling the needle away from the skin, (hold it there for about 10 secs) sometime the excess fluid on skin stings a bit x

Hi

Oh dear. Try melting an ice cube on the spot before injecting. Good luck. Diane
