RLS regimen for occasional big flare-ups?
I’m in the process of switching from Pramipexole to Pregabalin. To help ease the transition - Just got a Rx today for buprenorphine/naloxone (2/.5mg); I intend to cut the strips into fourths. Assuming all goes well with the rest of the transition, I’m wondering what people do to manage flare-ups?

buprenorphine study
Just wondering what people think about the recent study below? Study population was people with opioid use disorder (OUD) who are taking buprenorphine to manage it. Apparently an unusually high percentage of participants had RLS symptoms. I thought Bup alleviated symptoms? I’m in the process of getting

Co-codamol any good for RLS or PLMD?
I asked my GP for buprenorphine. He gave me co-codamol. Does anyone have any personal experience of this opioid? I'm not in pain, but have PLMD. I'd love to know if anyone has used co-codamol - and how they took it - and what their experience of it has been.

Two questions concerning RLS
1.For the past few months l have had horrendous bladder pain and l can no longer cope with that and the RLS. I am making an appointment to see my GP who knows nothing about RLS so l need some advice about treatment for the bladder pain which won’t worsen the RL S. l would be very grateful if anyone knows

Pain Relief
Hi all Can “anyone” offer me some advice as I’m at the “end of my tether” with pain! I’ve had a Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair. I’ve had a Shoulder Rotator Cuff Repair. I’ve had a Laminectomy for Severe Spinal Stenosis which unfortunately failed and is now worse than before the Surgery! I

Buorenorphine upate
Finally got the tablets( 2mg. Is lowest dose in US), which was WAY too much. Had severe nausea, vomiting for hours ,nystagmus and vertigo. Stop dose by decreasing time in mouth to 10 minutes which is working well- no RLSno PLMD, and for some reason, my hot flashes have stopped since taking it. Best guess

buprenorphine and dry mouth leading to difficulty swallowing
hello - since taking sublingual buprenorphine I know I have a tendency to have a dry mouth - I have recently noticed feeling like my food has got stuck in my throat and worrying that I might choke. I realise this is helped by regularly drinking water / sucking sweets / chewing gum etc however I wondered

Spinal stenosis
Hi, I am quite new here so unsure how it all works. I have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, bulging disc, fibro, nerve damage, problems in my knees . I knew about the disc whilst working but saw a chiropractor twice a year & kept fit walking. I'm now unable to work since my back went in 2020. Sciatica

Doctors awareness
Good news, I think. My GP (doctor) had to give a talk on a subject of his choice to all the other doctors in his Practice. He told me that he decided to give a talk on restless legs! He, of course, had learnt a lot from me & all my ups & downs & he also had to do a lot of extra research. Well, I am

BUPRENORPHINE
I was seeing a pain doctor and asked him to prescribe the
Buprenorphine
in lieu of Oxy
and
he did, but with
naloxone
. Shumbah asked me to write to Dr Gary and he responded and said that I should take Buprenorphine by itself and take 1 mg in a.m., 1mg at noon and 2mg at night.

update on prolotherapy
I have had my first prolotherapy injections, they don't hurt much at all.......I must admit the next day I thought oh no I have done the wrong thing....my legs were so bad I wanted to jump off the bridge. Today they have settled down a bit. I suppose this has happened because the prolotherapy causes
