I have had my first prolotherapy injections, they don't hurt much at all.......I must admit the next day I thought oh no I have done the wrong thing....my legs were so bad I wanted to jump off the bridge. Today they have settled down a bit. I suppose this has happened because the prolotherapy causes inflammation, so your cells get irritated and start the healing process, so you get worse before you get better. Have two more weeks of injections ( once a week), then I have six weeks of low level laser therapy and core streghtening tens. I do hope this works as even the buprenorphine is not having any effect on the tugging pulling electric shock feelings in my legs now.

Had to look up prolotherapy. Usually applied when joints are painful. I really hope it helps, an also with the RLS. And that it starts to get better soon. Not much more to offer than my sympathy, I am afraid..

There is also neural prolotherapy which they are noticing helps with RLS in some cases.....can only try.
And of course inflammation make RLS worse.
Hang on in there.Sending love.x
