RLS back again
Back again for any suggestions about what to try next! My husband's RLS is back, only in the evenings, but keeping him awake until about 2:30. He is now on so much medication plus a strict oxalate free diet, no alcohol, very little sugar but insists on sweetener in his tea and coffee. He is on

Any safe blood thinners
I've finally come completely off of ropinirole. Quite the battle. Now I'm on buprenorphine...about .04mg per day. I'm uptitrating gabapentin (currently at 300mg) in the hope of getting off of the bup and only on gabapentin. And now I've got Atrial fib acting up. Wondering if there are any blood thinners

Buprenorphine, Nausea & Zofran (Ondansetron)
I successfully take 0.4 mg day buprenorphine to treat RLS but the nausea side effect is very troublesome and there does not seem to be a satisfactory plan to get the better of it. I have unsuccessfully tried many anti nausea drugs and methods including Symprove probiotic and seem to be left with only

Finding the right buprenorphine
Hi Joolsg, you kindly sent me the photo of your Accord tablets to show my GP. He could not seem to access Accord but he did find the brand Temgesic. He wanted me, as you know, to start buprenorphine on 0.2mg strength. Anyway Temgesic do their measurements in micrograms. So I am taking one sublingual

Buprenorphine
Hello, have many UK people found it easy or hard to get Buprenorphine px by GP to control pain from RLS? I have been withdrawing from Pramepexole and using only codeine however it is now not effective in controlling my pain. I have a GP appointment in a few days and was going to ask for Buprenorphine

Lumbosacral plexopathy - Pain returning after steroid treatment
So further to my previous post on this subject, and I can't find much else on HU about this particular problem, but here's where I am now.....I've just finished a 4-week course of Prednisolone to calm down the inflammation. It really helped to be honest by heck I've had the munchies, knackered but wired

Buprenorphine and Nausea
Basically I successfully use buprenorphine (0.4mg/da) to block RLS but the resultant nausea is a serious well known side affect. I have been well guided by many on this site as to how to combat the nausea and have tried many of the suggested solutions except for me the last resort medical cannabis.

Some of life's treats!
Has anyone had an occasional glass of wine when on buprenorphine?I take my low dose buprenorphine at 10pm plus gabapentin (I find wine has no side effects on gabapentin). I am slowly reducing the gabapentin. If folks do have a glass of wine I usually have a glass of white wine at 7pm with evening meal

Nausea & Buprenorphine
I am waiting for my doctor to advise on an alternative anti nausea drug and to get him to prescribe sublingual Zofran. I have completed, without any success, the prescription the GP gave me for 5 days of Zofran and I am currently really struggling with the nausea 24 hours a day (milder during day though

Buprenorphine
Good Morning, I wondered if anyone could help with the following. I have had a call from my GP asking me to go in to see him about a couple of Liver Blood Tests I have had recently which show elevated SERUM GAMMA GT and ALT/SGPT serum levels. I want to be prepared in case he says that the Buprenorphine

Tramadol versus Buprenorphine Patch.
Just a short post as I’m getting very depressed by constant pain from Severe Spinal Stenosis. I had a Laminectomy which failed (Triple Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair also) now diagnosed with Heart Failure so no “normal” painkillers. Pain Management have advised me to try Tramadol prior to possibly using

Where can I get Accord?
Jules, it looks from everyone's comments, as though those big buprenorphine Accord easy cut tablets may not be available in the UK.Do you perhaps live in Australia?
