RA Remission following childbirth and breastfeeding?
if anyone else has heard of a possible remission like this, particularly in relation to late post-natal or
breastfeeding
, and whether there's anything we can do to keep this going as long as possible.

NDT / T3 and breastfeeding?
Hi, I've just been wondering if NDT or T3 are safe whilst
breastfeeding
? I started NDT two weeks ago and it's only just crossed my mind. I know levo is safe. My son only feeds 2/3 times a day ashes a toddler but even so I'd like to be sure.

On levothyroxine, new Thyroid blood tests, still within range, still feeling unwell. Also no Hashimotos?
Following on from my first post a couple of weeks ago, I am a
breastfeeding
mom of a 10 month old baby girl. I have been taking levothyroxine since January 2015, first only 25 mg then was put on 50 mg during my pregnancy.

Double dose of mini pill
This was all good and I was
breastfeeding
. As soon as I stopped
breastfeeding
I got a period every month. I was worried me getting my period will make my endo bad. So anyway, change to combined pill, had no period, but had mood swings, put on weight and I was just miserable.

Feeling bleak
Triggered by Brexit of all things - but exacerbated by
breastfeeding
and the wear and loneliness of caring for two small children. I feel I need to go on some antidepressants to help lift my mood but I'm afraid that they might stimulate me to go high again. Will my low mood lift by itself?

Worried low TSH, high T4 and breastfeeding
I am really worried as all these months I've been
breastfeeding
my baby. I understand that Thyroxine only passes into minimal amounts in breastmilk. I'm concerned as I've been taking too much of it, will it then pass into breastmilk? I'd appreciate your comments. Thanks for reading.

Second time around - Breastfeeding after c section question
Hi, just curious to know whether my milk will come through easier after a second c section or whether I'll have the same issue as last time when it took 3 days and a lot of nipple pain to get anything started. It took 11 days to get baby to latch but we bf'd until 18 m. 3 weeks after stopping, discovered

Previous Bipolar Diagnosis, High Risk for PP
, I can't really tell if this is just her overreacting, or if I should be adequately frightened into skipping
breastfeeding
and going back on lithium right after giving birth.

Number two - yes or no and devising an action plan
If not and I needed them then I need to get my head around not
breastfeeding
. 2. Anyone in or has been in a similar space re having another baby ? And thoughts... 3. Any other action plan tips. I see a few people mentioned Ian jones? Who is he and did he post tips on here?

Worried... Tooth infection
I did ring the helpline but she said she couldn't give me an appointment because I hadn't taken the maximum does of painkillers to see if it would 'improve' I was trying to avoid them because I'm
breastfeeding
. I explained this. Now I have started to feel all tingly and restless.

Lamictal - pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Hi everyone - has anybody had a baby whilst on lamictal? How are they? The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology says women on lamotrigine should be encouraged to breastfeed. Has anyone done this? Or used a combined system? How did it go?

My experience
I was also
breastfeeding
. My Mum came to stay after a week and noticed that I was not sleeping and becoming increasingly hyper, saying very strange things, so talked to my husband who called the community midwife.

Started NDT today after 15+ years on Thyroxine
I've spent the last 6 years either pregnant,
breastfeeding
or both so didn't feel it was the right time to mess around with my meds. My youngest has slept through for over a year, but I still feel rubbish so I feel it's time to spend a bit of time concentrating on getting me feeling better.

newbie 'new parent' story!
Although my health visitor reassured me I wasn't just being a wimp or doing things wrong and that it was in fact my baby's tongue tie that was causing me pain during
breastfeeding
, this only made me blame her and resent her more.
