PSMA Pylarify Test
Finally getting a PSMA Pylarify test after a PSA rise from 0.64 to 0.90 in 11 weeks. Should be interesting. No symptoms from the cancer so far. At the current PSA level it would appear there is an almost 90% chance of locating cancer somewhere. Also of some great interest to the doctor(s) is my status

Colonography
My colorectal nurse said I could consider a colonography this year mainly for peace of mind, as I get very anxious. My last colonoscopy was clear about 5 1/2 years ago and I’ve been told that any polyps etc are unlikely. But the decision to have the colonography is ‘up to me.’ Im having it in two weeks

MRI scanning could lead to major cut in prostate cancer deaths, finds UK study

A Kinda Update.
As things stand I have finished my BCG treatment which it seems has failed. I visited my GP and she asked how I was - gave me a script for to wet my mouth and some Folic Acid. I mentioned so pain I have in ribs - not very bad but there,. She prodded my ribs and yes there was some (not bad pain).

Does anyone know about immunotherapy?
My partner has been diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer and has liver cirrhosis child b, doctors say it's inoperable and chemo not an option, my partner has also suffered from undiagnosed cdiff for 8 months so is weak and lost lot of muscle mass. But nobody has mentioned immunotherapy to us and I don't

Mammogram
I am having a routine mammogram next week and wondered if there could be an issue with taking my anticoagulants or from the pressure plates. Should I tell the person that I have Afib? Thank-you.

Breast cancer - mastectomy or not
Hi allI was diagnosed with Stage 4a high grade serous OC in September 2022 and I've just had my last post-surgery chemo (for the time being at least)😊. I'm BRCA2 and aged 60 and the hospital genetics team have been telling me about the risk of getting breast cancer (as if ovarian cancer wasn't enough

A Wish Fulfilled, and a Legacy
A few months ago I posted about entering hospice and received many precious notes from well-wishers across the world. Your kind words mean so much to me that I’ve placed them in a document to look at whenever I need a lift! Words indeed support the healing process, and I am very grateful for being

Hi All, I am still waiting for the Biopsy of the neck, and CT neck Scans, as well as a full body scan.. The dates are 4th September, for the neck scan, and full body scan, and the 14th September for the Ultra Sound Biopsy, both side of the neck. It seems that I either have a separate small tumour,

Ovarian mass
Just diagnosed with a multiocular cystic structure in the right ovary extending to 7.0 x 5.6 cm. The anterior most component is made of several small size and a possible tubular. Updates on my father
My father was scheduled for a simple robotic prostatectomy which turned in a partial cystectomy .. The surgeon found a well oval encapsulated mass in the bladder in the size of 14 cm which he removed it . He also did a simple prostatectomy , his prostate was enlarged but not as big as the doctor thought
