Hi At age 32 I had a triple negative tumour removed (lumpectomy) followed by chemo and radiotherapy. Fast forward 31 years I have just had a mastectomy after I had an oestrogen positive tumour. No chemo needed-phew! The op was 3 weeks ago & I still have a large haematoma that has already been drained

Complex ovarian cyst surgery
I have had this complex 2 cm cyst on my left ovary for 14 years now. It was under observation with periodic ulatrasounds. Now as I’ve entered menopause last year, I really think that surgery is my best option. I don’t have a family history of breast or ovarian cancer, but there were other cancers on

Hi everyone I was diagnosed with Ductal Invasive BC on the 11th July 2023. The lump was spotted on a CT scan which I had on the 5th June this year for an unrelated matter. I was lucky that it was picked up. I was referred to the Breast clinic for a mammogram on the 20th June which resulted in several

Update after consultation w/Royal Marsden
I promised I would address some requests for information following my consultation with Prof. Johan de Bono and his team at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Seeking options/opinions
I hope you look back on previous posts and background. Finished Pluvicto in spring 23. Started out fine but went sideways. By mid May, psa and alk were on rise. MO suggested going to Xofigo but hemoglobin numbers were too low, sub 7, got transfusion. Decided to rechallenge with taxotere. (Zytiga worked

Gleason downgraded by JH
After my initial MRI came back showing a Pi-Rad 5 in left side, I had a biopsy which came back G 7 (3+4). Two cores were (20%, 30%) and two others were (5%, 60%) - all on left side. Evidence of perineural invasion. JH came back with a G 6 (3+3): two cores were (30%, 40%) and the other two were (5%,

Med change
Hi everyone, so it looks like I’m up for another med change. ( second one in 2 months 😳). My question is will I have to wait to get first med out of my system before starting the next one? I’m concerned that the cancer will grow if I’m not on anything. Just wondering what everyone’s experience
