Meds to treat prostate cancer

Hi all, If possible I would like to put a list of all meds and combinations of meds used to treat prostate cancer still contained in the prostate and also for matastic prostate cancer. I thought that maybe this forum could help me do this if it is not to much trouble.

I have read alot about prostate cancer treatments on this forum with really great advice that has helped me over the years and learnt alot. Thanks for the education.

The one doctor I was seeing really does not know alot about the combinations of meds to treat matastic prostate cancer or cancer still within the prostate. I would like to educate him so he can better provide a better aray of treatments to patients. I thought a list of this nature could help.

I also think that that list could help many on this forum by having this information at their finger tips to give to their doctors.

I will come back to this post in the evening, when I have time to reply in depth.

For now all I will say is: find a new doctor. Really, I'm sadly speaking from experience. If your doctor is not on top of things, you will suffer the consequences. And no matter what information you will provide to him, he will not change - all the information on standard treatment is available, as prostate cancer is widely researched. If he is not on top of it is because he does not care. Simple as that.

I ditched this particular doctor months ago. He was one of these doctors that think they know it all and don't know jack. He is a young doc.
