Trametinib!
Have been diagnosed with 3c stage low grade ovarian cancer back in 2016, after debunking and several rounds of chemotherapy remission for 7 years, now the big C is back again, I have been offered the new drug Trametinib which I need to start soon, reading on the all side effects gives me a real scare

Hi everyone I've recently been prescribed this medication due to severe constipation as a side effect of chemotherapy and all the associated drugs that go with it. I already suffer with chronic constipation so I take prucalopride , which now isn't effective alone 😔 my question is how many sachets do

Newly Diagnosed Panicking
Ive just had a pelvic ultrasound and was told I have 6 ovarian cysts on the left. Is that a lot? Consultant said ovaries are stuck together and looks like endo. Had Ca125 elevated at 53. Having had thyroid cancer at 26 im worried about ovarian cancer now. Waiting on MRI and gynae referrals. I've had

1st Recurrence
Hi, we received the results of my mums recent scan last week and it showed that she has lesions on both of her lungs and her liver. They are numerous and all around 1cm in size. It was a shock although not unexpected as her CA125 had been rising over the last 6 months. She is due to start the same

Things I Like About ADT
I know that no one, like NO ONE, actually wants to be on ADT. There are a lot of downsides to it, and complaints about the fatigue, lack of sex drive, etc. are a common theme on this forum. I'm about a year out now from starting on Zoladex shots (a drug that works in the same way as Lupron), and I

Antiinflammatory medications with Jakafi
I've read that there is a moderate risk of bleeding after using ibuprofen with Jakafi. I'd appreciate hearing reactions from people on Jakafi who have taken ibuprofen and other anti-inflammatory medications. Which anti-inflammatory medications would minimize the risk of such interactions? Thanks, Steve

Hello. Low grade Serous
Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with low grade serous ovarian cancer in Sept 22, I’ve had 2 massive ops and chemo and now take Letrozole. My recent scans have been clear, which is the best news. I haven’t really reached out to many support groups but feel I need to as I feel pretty isolated with my experience

Prostate cancer in liver
Have recently had a PSMA scan. This did show some hot spots for sure. But also, three smaller spots on my liver that did not give off PSMA. Did a liver Biopsy. which is rather painful I might add. Will meet with my 0ncologist on Monday to look at options. Any suggestion for the three rather small spots

Blood in Stool
I have found some blood in stool. I had a postive Qfit Test but just postive at 14. My GP said he was not overly concerned. I have an external hemorrid. I was referred and saw a Gastronelogist today he did a rectal exam and said there was not concerning. I did tell him that I was concerned of
