Enjoying our mini break in Brixham
Hi Steve, Teddy & me are currently enjoying our mini break in Brixham, Devon. The weather has been sunny & unusually mild for November. I have competed Day 1 & Day 8 of my new IV chemo Eribulin. I have a week off this Friday 👍 & that completes cycle 1. I’m feeling ok just a little bit tired at times

Hallo - Have any of you been diagnosed with MDS while having breast metastasis? I am newly diagnosed with MDS - apparently it is treatment induced from chemo agents i used with initial breast cancer diagnosis in 2006. I am also with breast mets to bone since jan 2018. Any feedback will be much appreciated

1st reoccurrence?
Down in dumps today. CA125 been gradually rising since I started Niraparib and Letrozole in April. From 7 on April to now being 40.8. Although only just out of normal range the trajectory is up and based on the level of rises so far I expect it to be around 80 in a couple of weeks time. My scan in September

Thank you for being here for me!
I’m still trying to wrap my head around my current situation, so please forgive me if I’ll repeat what was discussed in my previous posts. Just to reiterate: in September my 6-month PET scan showed stable disease. 10 days later, the routine spine MRI indicated new spinal cord edema from T3-T4 to T9

AFIB AND LETROZOLE UPDATE
Will make it quick 🤣 Spoke to my Oncologist, a Professor at Guy’s, who although they think its bizarre fully concurs that Letrozole has caused/affected my AF and is writing a letter to that effect to my cardiologist and doctor. Hope this helps any other breast cancer sufferers with similar symptoms

HER2+ - Post treatments
Hi All, I've finished my treatments for HER2+ breast cancer (Chemo & Double Mastectomy). And am told I just need to visit my oncologist twice a year. However, I've been hearing that some ladies are given post treatment medication as a preventive measure such as Nerlynx. Does anyone have advise on

CT scan shows multiple liver metastases.
Hello ladies. I hope everyone is as well as can be. I had a CT scan of chest, abdomen and pelvis yesterday afternoon. I had not expected the results until Monday or Tuesday, but the report posted yesterday evening and shows multiple tumors on liver. I’m not surprised. I meet with the new oncologist

Did anyone go back on hormonal and targeted treatment or Serds after chemotherapy?
Hi wonderful people, I have a progression to bones (wide spread) and liver. I am taking Xeloda now. My oncologist said that if the spread stops it’s possible to go back on the treatment I had been before. Can you share your experience with me. Also if someone was on IV chemo and then went back on

Increased tumor marker after radiotherapy
Afternoon all, I am currently on ibrance 75mg and letrozole. I had a mastectomy in June and radiotherapy which ended 20th August. On 20/8 my tumor marker was steadily going down to 41 but has now gone up to 51. Am somewhat anxious, could the radiotherapy have caused the marker to rise? Any comments gratefully

Faslodex injections
How much Faslodex injection do you get at one time? Because I thought I saw somewhere here that they inject one butt cheek and the following time, the other and so alternating. Today I got my first one and they injected a full large syringe in each butt cheek for a total of 500 mg. It seems to me

Recent CT Scan Results
Hi I’ve once again received news of liver progression from my latest CT scan following 10 weeks of Epirubicin. My report confirmed a mixed response to treatment with a decrease in size of the left axillary node however an increase in size of the liver metastasis and a new right pleural effusion. Diffuse

How to manage Xeloda?
I was diagnosed with MBC in March this year. I had a mastectomy 5 years ago and was on a maintenance dose of Anastrozole. I am HR negative. When diagnosed I was given radiation for tumour activity in my sternum and a combination of Fulvestrant injections and kisqali medication. I had lesions on the liver
