Will Start Xeloda Soon
Hi. I have msb which is in my bones and small spots on my liver (PIK3CA mutation). I'm searching Xeloda and reading past stories from members here. When Ibrance, Fulvestrant, Xgeva stopped working after 6 mos. of treatment, next were 6 weekly (3 on / 1 off) treatments of Taxol 150 mg which I learned

CLL and Skin Cancer
My husband has a small innocuous growth on the side of his nose prior to needing treatment for CLL. His doctor and dermatologist both said it did not look dangerous. He is now on cycle 8 of O+V. The growth began to bleed a couple of months ago, and his primary doc thought the dermatologist should take

Asthma Appointment
So I went to see the nurse at my practice today because my asthma has flared up and although my chest is clear she's told me to finish my course of steroids because my peak flow is low (270 usually 450) and I'm tight chested and a little breathless and she's changed my steroid inhaler from Flutiform

Does Lepidic mean cancer?
Hi all, I recently posted a separate post about a ground glass opacity growth and the tests my consultant has referred me to. I have a PET scan booked in for this Saturday and received a copy of the letter sent to my GP. Under actions the Consultant's letter reads "PET CT but very likely to be negative

’Nothing else NHS can do’
After years of seeing my GP about my symptoms and trying lots of different types of tablets, I’ve recently been told ‘there’s nothing the nhs can do for you until you try the anti-depressants’. They won’t refer me to a gastroenterologist about persistent bloating. I have severe abdominal pain a few

waiting for the result of a 24 urine test as possible hypercalcaemia
I am waiting for the result of a 24 hour urine test. I have previously had above the normal range calcium tests. This has been going on for about a year. I’m guessing that the culprit is lithium but I’m wondering whether steroids can cause this ?

QoL. Jessie's Woodland Walk III
A few people said they would appreciate seeing more of my art here. I don't wish to share so much that I become a nuisance -- after all, this site is about cancer, not painting -- but here is today's effort. I call it "Jessie's Woodland Walk III". 12" by 9". Wife of mCRPC. You men are rockstars. Need advice
Hello! I’m a wife of mCRPC. Although I’m new to posting, I’ve been reading your stories for 2 months and can’t thank you enough for all the info you unknowingly provided to me! My question - If his PSA continues to decline on Taxotere, does he stop after 6? Based on my bio, do you have any suggestions

DBS and cognition
Does having a diagnosis of "major neurocognitive disorder"-- a DSM diagnosis, usually disqualify someone for DBS? Is it dependent on other factors?
