Dear All,It's a story of two brothers in the uk. Older brother was identified with 4+5 pc. His urologist recommended that any sibling be tested for pc. I did so and it was discovered that I had 3+4 pc. Older brother , via our national health care system, NHS, has systemic treatment ( chemo and hormone

Smear test problems
So I went for a smear on Tuesday and it was pretty awful. She couldn't find my cervix and I was bleeding (because I'm always bleeding). She tried all different sizes and had me lying on my side at one point but no joy. She said I'd have to come back in 6 weeks. Has anyone else had problems with smears

First line of treatment
Well, I finally got to see my oncologist at Fred Hutchinson cancer center today. And finally a treatment plan! This all took time because I moved from South Carolina to Seattle for cancer treatment and to be with my kids. My oncologist was grateful I had done all the tests and biopsies prior to my appointment

Curcumin Interactions with Abiraterone
Curcumin has so many good benefits that would help to cope with ADT side effects. Does Curcumin interefers with ADT (Lupron+Zytiga)? Does anyone taking Curcumin while on Hormone Therapy? Please, share the information. Thank you.

How long can Asthma flares last?
Hi I’m in to my 5th week now with a tight chest and struggling to breathe. A&E couldn’t find anything untoward and GP could only offer stronger antihistamines and Montelukast which I have reluctantly started a few days ago. The worrying thing is that my peak flow isn’t too bad but I still have the tightness

CRISPR: hopes and research
I will keep you posted, also because it's a very fascinating technique that could potentially solve many health problems (and of course be used for evil...but that's not CRISPR fault, it's a fault in our brain!...which obviously CRISPR cannot fix!) Xeloda and Zoladex?
Hi everyone, hoping someone can help clear this up for me. Last week I shifted to Xeloda from Piqray. I asked my oncologist about whether I continue with monthly shots of Zoladex, which are administered by my GP, and she seemed a bit unsure, then said no. I left the hospital without much confidence and

Anyone Know About Silent Reflux
Following on from my experience of asthma flare up I'm wondering if like Cade in his post about breathing problems whilst exercising, if I could have silent reflux. It was shortness of breath that led me to seek medical treatment, and even though I had no wheezing or cough the hospital concluded it was
