Can you recur while on the maintenance of Avastin? My cancer markers have continued to trek upwards lately.
On 7/21/23 my CA125 went from 30 to 37. And my recent CA125 on 8/11/23 went to 43. All while I was on Avastin Treatment! Can that happen, I thought Avastin treatment was to keep the ovarian cancer at bay. Thank you in advance for your replies!

The purpose of maintenance drugs like Avastin and PARP inhibitors is to try to prolong progression free survival. Having said that, there is no guarantee if or how long a maintenance drug will be effective. Hoping that if you are recurring, you are able to find your way back to NED - no evidence of disease.
