Has any any used transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) for PD symptoms?
A new TENS device (http://www.webmd.com/migraines-headaches/news/20140311/fda-approves-first-device-to-prevent-migraines) for preventing migraines has just been approved by the FDA and can be purchased. Just wondering if it could have a positive effect on PD symptoms like DBS?

I am male, aged 53. I've had varying symptoms over the past 2 years, starting with flu like, Renauds, fatigue, heart flutters, joint pain
Also side & back pain, kidney pain, headaches, sweats, eventually diagnosed AF from the heart flutter. But still getting back and chest pain (not severe), flushes, Renaud's, and dry mouth, dry eyes, tired. Oh and small lumps under skin, with sometimes discomfort underarms. Saw the MPTD question and

Balance is much worse now then before the GK. I get sharp pains in my ear never both just one it only last for

Is it normal to get a lot of clicking in the head after a Cranioplasty 7 months ago.
My husband had a massive SAH and stroke in October 2012, and has had clicking sounds before, but in the last couple of weeks these are much more frequent, and although there is no pain, they are worrying him.

Free Meningitis Journal and Guide - if your child has had meningitis this resource is for you.
We know that when families are told that their child is well enough to return home after being hospitalised by meningitis, they are so relieved they don’t look back. But what might not be obvious at the time is the long term effect meningitis can have on a child’s development. That’s why we have created

Oh well!
The last time I went to Papworth Thoracic Outpatients clinic the doctor said I should have a hearing test as the antibiotic Azytheromycin, which I take everyday can affect your hearing. I told him I was deaf in my left ear anyway. This morning I went to the West Suffolk Hospital for my hearing test

Ongoing head pain 11 months post Bacterial Meningitis - Cooling cap helps
I had bacterial meningitis, pneumonia and pleurisy back in March 2013. I was misdiagnosed and given the wrong antibiotics, so my pneumonia and pleurisy were cleared up, but the meningitis raged on. I was in severe pain for over 7 months, unable to walk, or bear daylight, unable to read, watch TV, use

It's my health, my body...why is it that my opinion does not count? I am angry, frustrated and feeling helpless!
I was diagnoised just over 10 years ago and fought taking any meds for some time, untl my ablility to function was greatly impaired, which in turn greatly affected my mental state. I am currently taking Ropinirole, (0.5MG, 1 tab-4x dly) Carb/Levo, (25-100MG, 1 tab-4x dly) Entacapone, a generic of Comtan
