Just one of those days
I feel like every time I take one step forward, it's really two steps backwards. I'm so confused with my thoughts and emotions. I'm physically and emotionally exhausted. Is it my Parkinson's, my meds, lack of sufficient sleep, hormones (i am only 39). I need answers but feel the medical community

Good news!
I had a brain tumour removed on March 31st 2010, I recovered quite quickly and felt ready for work by November 2011. It took me a year but I finally started work last November. I still have a few problems with my memory and my cognitive ability has decreased considerably but I am happy to be alive and

Claim: Tetanus Vaccine Causes a New Disease Known as Antiphospholipid Syndrome
I came across this article today. http://healthimpactnews.com/2013/tetanus-vaccine-causes-a-new-disease-known-as-antiphospholipid-syndrome/ First I've heard of such a claim. Make of it what you will. The first thing that springs to my mind is why are sufferers predominantly women , isn't the incidence

Clear Point Surgery
My Dr's at a major hospital where I was approved for DBS surgery last fall called to see when I wanted to schedule the surgery. After explaining the research we've done on why I want the Clearpoint Surgery ~ it takes half the time of DBS, half the cost of DBS, less invasive, and you are asleep for

DBS and car accident
I had a very successful DBS Surgery in June. Many if my symptoms were curtailed. On Jan 16 an SUV pulled out in front of us. My wife was driving a 1997 Geo Metri. Did you have a Near Death Experience as part of your traumatic brain injury? I 'd be interested to hear about it.
I left my body before the impact. And when I came back into my body on the tarmac I passed through some interesting places. I saw some little angry fat buddha type creatures - unpleasant! I later found out these are what the Tibetan Buddhist call 'The Bardoes' The realms of the dead. They pray for the

Why am I waking up in the night so hungry?
After another very restless night of waking up with painful hunger pangs, I'd like to know whether anybody else suffers from this? I didn't get this before, but it's becoming usual now. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer yesterday, and am getting thyroidy symptoms, but no drugs as yet to balance

Travel Vaccinations - Autoimmune HypoT - Can I have them?
I'm gutted after reading that article about the flu jab and the possible debilitating autoimmune response reaction by some autoimmune hypoT sufferers. My kids are just off my hands and my husband and I want to see the world but now I'm thinking it might not be wise for me to have all the jabs - and

Is DBS the miracle they say it is?
I've seen so many videos of people that have had DBS and it doesn't look like the cure-all they claim it to be. Most of the patients look like they've had a stroke or a slowness of reaction in mind and body. Why is there not more information on what can go wrong? OR am I expecting too much? There has
