How did he think that Botox would help you? What was your particular problem>

THANKS!

I have horrible pains in my chest to the point of finding it difficult to breath. The neurologist thought it to be a muscular thing and Botox would hold

the muscles together giving me so relief. I don't know what to do yet.

I've heard of it being used for toes . I was wondering if it could be used to help me sit up straight. I hope it works out for you if you decide to try it. Thanks.

Mary alice, I had botox in my left foot and calf 2 months ago for severe cramping. Helped a lot but I can tell that I'll need it again in a month or so. It was a very low dose for the first shot, the next one can be a little stronger. I don't get the severe pain and distorted foot in the night so I'm getting a little better sleep. Make sure you have someone do it who had done it often.

Thanks. Does it help with toes that curl under too? My biggest problem is that my whole body leans to the right. I was wondering if Botox would help. Does your Neurologist give you the shots?

I have been using Botox for sweating on the right side of my head and face. It helps and really worked in the hot summer months

It helped a little with the curling but was mostly for dystonia of the big toe with severe charlie horses at night. Yes, my neurologist gave it and it was just like a big pinch. Barely painful at all for me.

I have PD and dystonia of the toes(toes curl under), feet (turn inward)and calves. It feels like someone is trying to twist my feet and legs off of my body. I see a neurologist that is a pain specialist. I get botox injections every three months and it has helped tremendously, the past two years!

Thanks, Margie. I appreciate your help. Have you ever heard about Botox being used

to help someone like me who leans to the right?

No, but I know they use Botox for migraines now, so. If I were you, ask your doctor ?
