Interesting study on T3 and vasodilation
This is a complex study of the effect of T3 on vasodilation https://academic.oup.com/endo/article-abstract/162/7/bqab099/6276892?redirectedFrom=fulltext . I do not have access to the full paper and anyway I'm not interested in the precise details! T3 acts in a number of ways. Usually, it binds to thyroid

Arthritis or hyper mobility?
Hi, I’m new to this and to be honest I’m not even sure if I’m in the right place but here goes. A little bit of background, I used to do a lot of judo when I was in my early 20’s and I used to work in a shop, lugging in deliveries etc. Did this for a lot of years and then got a second job in a Post

Multaq aka Dronedarone, 400mg twice daily recommend by electrophysiologist (EP)
76 years old, on Metoprolol extended release (ER) 25 mg, Atorvastatin both once daily I was taking Metoprolol ER 100 mg once daily and feeling tired and lacking energy. I also have sleep apnea and epilepsy. My EP says Multaq is expensive but works well. I have also had a maze procedure. I am asymptomatic

Brunch Time 😋☀️❤️🌺
I usually skip breakfast and have brunch instead. I love light meal with plenty of vegetables. I am pescatarian so I don’t consume animal meat. I don’t eat much for dinner, either vegetable soup or a sandwich (peanut butter and jelly with slice bananas or tuna and egg sandwich). Today I had vermicelli

Hi everyone. Last night, I had beefless/meatless Sloppy Joe’s with a gluten free hamburger bun and a Lemon Meringue Greek yogurt. For a drink, I had some hot tea and water. The
total amount of carbs. in the entire meal was 78
. Everything was really delicious and I hope to have it, again soon

Apixaban
Hi! I’m new here.. I’m 34 years old and was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism in February this year and I’ve been on Apixaban for 3 months. And stopped Apixaban for a month. Doctor told me I’m at risk of having another episode of PE and it will likely in my lungs again. Now, I’m back on Apixaban today

Veggie Burger 🍔 and Greek Yogurt: Dinner 🍦
Tonight, I had a Veggie Burger made from pea protein and has no wheat in it. I had a gluten free hamburger bun with sweet relish and yellow mustard. For dessert, I had a peach Greek yogurt that was lower sugar. The total carbs. for the meal was: 60. What did you have for dinner tonight?😀👍

I’m worried about possible bleeds but also by the recommendation to give up riding my motorcycle and any other activities that might cause injury . Also been told not to drink alcohol.I am very active around home and often using chainsaw and working

Heart Issues but otherwise healthy
Hi all, I live in the Panhandle of Florida. I am fairly active even though I have an artificial heart valve and a pacemaker. I try to stay healthy by eating the right foods and limiting vitamin K to keep my INR stable but every now and then, I have a question about diet and INR results.

Apixaban+Aspirin - v- Clopidogrel
Condition: Atrial Fibrillation + unstable Angina; has bare metal stents; aged 94. Long-term NOAC Apixaban+Aspirin was recommended by hospital Consultant after serious angina attack. Before A+A, prescription was for Clopidogrel+Aspirin. GP stopped A+A and now prescibes only Clopidogrel. How would this
